my 6800gt went kaput earlier today and needs replacing, i'm currently using an ancient gf ti4200 that i found in the attic and i don't think it's likely to run WoW terribly well.

i've got a modest budget of £100-£150.

the rest of my pc spec is amd 64 3500+, asus a8v deluxe, corsair 1gb ddr xms3200xl and a 17" iiyama vmp pro 413 as i don't have room - nor can i afford - a larger monitor.

advice is gratefully receieved, i'm so out of touch that i dodn't know what i'm looking for anymore.

I guess you'll be limited by the AGP slot, but this page seems to suggest a Leadtek 7600GT AGP as the choice.

Get it here.

My leadtek runs wonderfully. (6800GT)

On another note, avoid the later ATI AGP offerings, they're utter shit and certainly can't keep up with the 7600's for love nor money.

Grats. My leadtek 6800gt died twice until they gave up and sent me a 7800gs BFG branded card. :) (overclockers ftw btw).

Oh and when mine died I was reduced to playing WoW on a ti4200. It ran fine for the most part.
