Anyone seen this yet?

You know it's likely to be a masterpiece if directed by Eastwood!

Very good film, saw it this afternoon. Have to say though it will never live up to the silly hype it is getting at the moment, it is a simple story told in a simple way and not some genius masterpeice as the media would like you to believe.

All the same though it is very good and well worth watching.

They say that about loads of films "best movie ever" etc

Eg Benjamin Button was hyped up to the eyeballs and that was rubbish IMO

How about throw Juno into that mix

Or even lord of the rings? Seriously, wasn't it the end all of movies?

No movie will be greatest ever, because next greatest ever isn't invented yet.

Haven't seen Gran Turismo yet, but might as i've never heard of it.

Also dislike "this director making = must be good!" malarky because it's the script, the team, the director, the funding etc etc that make a movie. Lord of the rings with a budget of 10k would've been crap. No matter how much the old bearded f*ck wanked over the details.

The only reason someone likes Juno is if A: They like chick flicks. B: They ARE chicks or C: They have a chick at the vicinity who they want to sex up :p

Fantastic film.

Probably one of Clint's finest acting.

Really thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Really enjoyed Gran Torino, very easy to watch and entertaining. Strange considering that for the most of it, the acting was pretty shit.
