and on the same occation, Utopia has been more or less disbanded (not entirely desided, if someone carries on the legacy, but as of now, it doesnt look like it).

So expect a few handfulls of unguilded people in the neighbourhood.

Thank you, to all you out there, who gave utopia your respect and friendship. it was highly treasured, while it lasted. But alas, all excellent things come to an end...

<signing off, with the last deed in the name of all that is and was Utopia>

Sad to hear it

Sad to hear that about Utopia, it was always fun to hunt with you all or run events with you.

So ... when you going to join us, Liste? :)

The Fall of Utopia

1 year ago in another world of gaming, Liste and I manifested thoughts and dreams of the perfect clan into what we decided to call Utopia. This was exactly what is was, Utopia, a place where everyone had a saying, where everyone knew and loved eachother and would be there through thick and thin. This other world of gaming died around the time where DAoC came to the stores and we decided to let these dreams live on in this new and magic world. Graduran got the honour of building up this new guild and leading it through good times and bad as Liste and I had done before.

Last night this dream died. It was clear that our dreams had little chances of succes in this new world of gaming, our fair guild had started hurting its treasured members. When Graduran and Zoelin decided to try their luck in Hibernia, Liste and I decided that it was time to let Utopia rest as a dream once more.

When we passed on these grave news to our members many of them said that Utopia had been their second family. I love them all dearly and plead you to take good care of them where ever they may venture.

This is so sad for everyone in Utopia, but I wish Grad and Zoe the best. (still wishes they would have gone to Excal if they really wanted to explore Hiberia, but oh well)

I have said before on /as and will say here...any and all members of former Utopia are more than welcome into The Dragon Senate.
We will miss the chatter of Utopia since you too have become a part of our family. Those who do rp might see our guild as not a likely home, but believe it or not a few of us do participate quite often in rp events.

Wherever they end up, I wish them well and look forward to hunting with them again soon!

Beautifully said, Ziera.

No matter where I go, I feel certain that I will never again meet a guild that has been more built on friendship and love than Utopia was. But maybe it was this strenght that in the end came to be the fall of the guild...

To all the members of Utopia: I love you guys, and thanks for providing me with some of the most memorable moments I've had in game or elsewhere. Will miss you all like crazy.

/cry

Grad and Zoe, I wish you the best of luck in Hibernia. But don't expect me to go easy on you if I ever meet you in the frontiers! <grins>

Sad Day

Sad to hear of the end of Utopia.

Despite not being a guild member, I was made more welcome by you than anywhere else. It really meant a lot.

Big thank you to Liste in particular, had some great times with you - good luck to you friend.

Wish you all the best.

A trult sad day for Albion.

Held Utopia in the highest respect, their members were good-hearted, alliance hunts were allways fun, and just kept the alliance nice and varied.

Best of luck to graduran and zoe in their new home, am sure they will be sorely missed...yet we obviously havent seen the last of them :)

Hope you all find good homes, Lost Souls (Small as we are) wish you all well. And perhaps if you needed, a crossing over guild-home for some of you? ;)

Aye, sad to see Graduran go - he was a really smashing lad, fearless and mad as a hatter :) . But also sad to see the name of Utopia disappear, it leaves many good memories behind though.

I'd advise those ex-Utopians to take a moment and not rush into joining any other guilds. Let the "join my guild!" vultures fly off while you decide what to do next. Take your time and make a choice that will honour the fond memories of Utopia.

Yes, I have to say I agree with Turamber.. don't rush into joining a guild, keep me company, so i don't have to be the only guildless loner person out there

and I will beat you to 50 Liste, cos everybody loves clerics :p

Turamber, I meant no offence when asking Liste to join Templars. I like the guy, and meant is as a sign of friendship, in a moment of sadness. A possible way to look forward.

I didn't know Utopia very well, but from what I see here, it seems like a guild I would have loved to be a part of, had I not been guilded already.

Just based on that uneducated opinion, it saddens me greatly to see that dream die. :( To all Utopians, I apologize for being ignorant and not giving you all time for reflection.
