Can we just repeal the last 11 years of new labour legislation?

I mean theres just so many awful laws to choose from.

It's slow, think every single member here should rate the digital economy bill thread. Also, is there anything on stop and search powers there?

Proof will be in the pudding, the petitions website was a lot of shit because there was no political will to do anything with it. The political will to listen to the voters seems to be present, only time will tell.

??! Not Apache or IIS then?

Or maybe they've just got some really zen guy pumping out the webpages by the power of his mind?

Running a boatyard I hate when you get running varnish, you have to rub the whole work down and start again..

Back on topic.

Get rid of every law, regulation and cash cow related to health and safety that has come in since Labour came to power, and then re-assess them to see if they are legitimately there to protect us, or simply there to give the stupid and/or careless someone to blame.

Oooh also, get rid of the law that says I have to practice with my longbow every weekend. It's really eating into my drinking time, and people are beginning to comment on my over developed right arm.

Takes a while to go through them and vote.

Personally I voted to get religion out of schools and not to have any funding for religious quangos and for a modern secular state.

Also against the Digital Economy Bill and the smoking ban :p

And the fact that's it's against the law to rip your own CDs for your own use (fair use is US law not English)

Oh, and the 'extreme porn' law. The bloke who got done for having a cartoon of Tony the Tiger shows what a dog's breakfast that is.

Anything else...

Oh yeh, hate crimes are just crimes.
