Gorge - Best place for fun and easy rps

Hi all.
Evina here.
I would like to know if I am the only person on this server (talking about alb / mid) who goes regularly in gorge to have fun with hybs.
If not, no matter if u are mids / albs, pm me on irc (daoc.prydwen) or post it here, to go there together and have great fun :>
Btw, soon Black Company (among with some friends) will make a big blockade in gorge.
This will mean a line of albs in front of hyb main pk, with tanks in 1st row, infs on sides (so no stealther pass) and casters / healers at back (2nd line).
We also make a movie of that thingie :> So if u want to show up, join with us :>
The blockade will last for 6-8 hours. If no hybs come, we will stay longer, and repeat next day.
Now go away and feel free to reply bad / good things.

Gave fun. I'll give it 5 mins before hordes and hordes of level 5-50's come pouring out of Druin ligen like water from a tap. Remember they can bind in the keep, you can bind 10 mins away. Unless you block Cain, no1 really cares so you wont get many people attacking thus you can stay.

Well, they cant fight while rezz sick, and are immune to pvp attacks.
But that is not the point.
I am sure mids will try to come there too.
The fun is that u will be there and get rps, cause scouts and fire wizz will get them from gates

Gorge is a silly place to camp, 90% of ppl coming out of there will be res sick.
As for camping bk, you'll go oom and just get zerg'd by res sick hibbys. Dont think you'd last camping there for 30 mins, let alone 8 hours...

We used to go to Gorge loads but that kinda trip only needs about two people and you know how passing through emain with two people is
Perhaps it's easier for albs, their MG is nearer to Breifine

Eclipse

And if the rest of Black Company are as good as Evina, I doubt there's much to worry about

All u know to do is speak, because in game u dont do a thing.
U are good because u play in a group with high rrs and peeps who know to handle things in rvr. So u just sit and press 3 keys on keyboard to debuff / stun / nuke.
Look gimp, if u dont know about Black Company, dont talk.
And if u do know that BC here is same as BC mid / exc, u would be quiet about it.
U play an overpowered class and in good groups, cause else u would suck, u are not able to play another class. If u would play alb i am sure u would play a sorc, and on mid a BD, cause u cant handle another class.
Look gimp, i had a RR4 mana chanter, and deleted him (hyb / exc) cause was boring to hell.
But go away and post some more here, i like when u involve in things who overcome u. U look more gimp then. And u make me laugh :>

I suggest you ask some of the more experienced people on Prydwen who I am, I think they'll more than likely say I'm not your everyday enchanter.

And you're right, I know bugger all about Black Company, which is probably because they have done bugger all to make me know anything about them.

I haven't played on Excal since a week after retail release, simply because I couldn't stand all the 1337 kiddies who were running about, so I know bugger all about the guilds there now, and hopefully never will.

FYI: up until I deleted the original Usp I was about 10th in the RP holders in Hib, mainly due to me doing alot more PvE than RvR, I only just got Usp back to 50 3 weeks ago, dinged 300k RP yesterday, and am still playing alot of PvE so not alot of RvR.

FYI: The reason I group with alot of high rr Hibs is because I have been in the game a long time, and I know the high rr Hibs from more or less day 1 on the server. People like Etharion, Svarun, Tuorin, Malevolencia, Egar, Lourker, Latino, Furball, Sharwyn, Succi, Vindici, Revminster, Wonderer, Tacticus, Reedemer (want me to continue) I have levelled with them since they were level 10, I have RvR'ed with them since they were rr1.

Now as Matt says, I play the game for fun, and there's nothing more fun than smacking down some eejit who came from Excal, boasting about things, lining themselves up for a serious taking down.

Now, please, go back to practicing your mezzes, as since you can't mezz a greycon without them resisting it, I seriously doubt you'll be a threat for the near future.

Ok, have a laugh at this pre-relic raidkeep take attempt I sort of halted at the doors of Ailinne before the mids even got near the relic keep. Pity none of the Mids took a screenie of the spam at Lamfhota 10 minutes later when I did a similar thing. That was fun that day

U must admit i might not be interested at all who u are, how long u play and how your high rr friends HERE are.
If i play on exc and yet have chars here, is because here i do whatever i want to do, what i cant do there because of guild i am in and i respect.
But here i am free to do whatever i want to do.
Just as a parantese, i dont have nothing to argue with u about, i dont know why all this started, but i am not the one to end it.

Well i am with new wave. I do crazy things. Might be absurd to camp gorge. Sounds Lamme to kill gray cons. Is bad to talk like i did to peeps who play here for ages and have connections.

I did got killed being a gray con who was going to excal to get plvl from a friend by so many times. I did hug / beg, etc nothing. They wiped me. So? I get into game spirit and kill grays too. DOES SOMEONE REALLY CARE? Dont think so. All peeps are lame at a point and at a time.
U all say that eclipse and NP here are top guild. I dont argue with that. Having experienced peeps and high rrs is very easy to own others. We do this on excal a lot too, and peeps blame us here on forums for using radar etc etc etc.
Why to do rvr if when u hear that NP / Eclipse is "zerging" emain u run to apk so fast that even my speed seems like a walk?
Happened to me to be in a group and got info from a stealther that eclipse headed mmg, we where amg. I sayd, ok let's go get em. No one followed, they moved apk so fast that i got oos in secs. Peeps fear those guild because they builded a name. And that names provokes fear and respect.
Ask players from excal what happens when NP or Red Guard or Black Company or Vengeance is geting out in the open.
Same as here.
And this is what is lame. Ruins RvR.
Is like your FG owns a high rr enemy and u start to yell it weeeee! We killed XXXX, owned him!

And by doing this, u force newbies to zerg. Is like a band of 5 years kids who needs numbers to get that older boy down.

I didnt come on this server to make a name to be respected and feared in RvR.
I comed here to spend free time and have fun. If i have fun helping low lvls in my realm to xp, or kill gray cons in gorge is my way.
How about all LAME mids / albs / hybs who go in df in enemy side and kill all lower cons at merchants? Is that 1 rp they get per kill worth? Or is the fun they get?
Dont tell me i am lame and wrong because u are not me. U get your fun from PvE part of game and i get mine in my way.

Yeah, have to agree with you Evina, the fact that alot of zergs build up is that inexperienced, or 'random' groups meet one of the better groups on the server (NP, Eclipse, PE, MM for example) and they /release, port back (or walk outside the bk, whatever ) and see another group of 'randoms' and tell them they just got wiped by <enter guild group> and they reply that they did too, so they decide to run together, and the other group that was standing there decides they will join too.

Then they meet a group of enemy 'randoms', walk over them, the enemy 'randoms' calls for more enemy 'randoms' and they create another 'zerg' and it's all Derrics fault really
