Watching from the outside apart from the endless smack talk that Goons do I think they are kind of crap when it comes to the actual fight because besides having a massive numbers advantage and the fact they also got all of BoBs isk etc they really haven't achieved a great deal so far.

If all of BoBs isk amounted to 8billion then BoB were a fail alliance :>

And, Harggath kept it all, goonie just took the dreads from him.

Seems that Bob and -AAA- did some damage over the weekend, all reports show that Goonswarm and friends took some costly losses. It is going to be interesting over the next few weeks.

Yes it did, but it also showed the amount being transfered, which was only 8 Billion ISk.

I think it goes without saying that big alliances don't put all their isk in one basket. :p

no, unless its a complete and utter tool thats running it, and despite having some pretty low expectations on BoB i cant possibly think they are quite THAT stupid.

Tbh this won't end for along time.

As for why nobody will attack RzR space. There's a couple of reasons.
1. As Space goes it's not great quality - not a massive amount of expensive moons there, Alot of place holders there too. Basically taking RzR space would be a pita and there's not a massive amount of income to be made from it.

2. MM are North. Rzr, MM are long term blue. They're as close a friend as two large alliances can be. THere is fuck all chance of RzR losing space whilst MM are home.

3. Pet's. Most of Branch is covered by pet alliances who on their own would represent a significant enemy to get rid of. it's not impossible but it wouldn't happen quickly and would leave the assailant with newly conquered stations/systems to babysit which would further delay an assault.

BoB struggled when they hit the Northern Naptrain on their home territory as anyone in BoB will tell you. I know last night Kenzoku (bob's new name) spent most of the evening with a 50man HAC gang breaking people out of camped systems and being chased around by a 400+man NC/PL/Goon/Bandwagon fleet.

For the record I have friends on both sides of the current fight - I really don't like PL's metagaming methods but they're shit hot pilots. I despise Rzr & the Naptrains blobbing methods but I respect their success at holding space against multiple threats for so long as they have.

I think the day an alliance is conquered by one person pulling the plug is a sad one if I'm being honest.

Cash wise - most of bob's moons would have brought in between 3 and 5 billion isk a month each and I know that bob had ALOT of those moons for a long time. I'd be amazed if the 8billion on the screenie was any more than a minor roadbump iskwise

Tenerifis is now a public space, all are welcome

~*~*~*~*~*~ Official Goonswarm Diplomatic Message ~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dear Eve Universe,
For three weeks we have let our old space sit vacant. Occasionally goons will rat on their way to delve or evac some last minute assets but in large part Tenerifis has been a region with no owner. After AAA failed to abort our titan they never bothered taking the region and none of our allies would like the space. So for those of you who have asked, what has goonswarm ever done for eve? Now is the time for us to give back.

As of this moment every station in Tenerifis will allow anyone to dock (except those we are hostile to, screw you guys) Check GoonSwarm Standings List to see if you are hostile to us.

Tenerifis is now a THUNDERDOME, all are welcome.

We are never coming back for this space.

The alliance who manages to hold the space wins.

There are dyspro moons located at:
9-980U VIII - Moon 8
Q5KZ-W V - Moon 19
Q5KZ-W V - Moon 1
ZMV9-A IV - Moon 9

Here is the list of cadmium moons:
B-6: 7-7, 7-9, 7-10, 8-1, 9-1
9-9: 8-15, 8-18
XGH: 5-19, 8-13
Z-0: 8-12, 9-19
OP: 4-1, 6-20

There are two sov 4 constellations waiting for the taker, don’t mind the neighbors.

Also, Kenzoku diplos please contact me about renting Detorid.

Love,
Goons

i always thought they would. i mean, there would be little point in them vacating theis old space just for this attack just to have to do it all over again to reclaim their old one.

and as big as GoonSwarm may be they aint THAT big so they can hold both those relatively massive areas.

but i bet they are getting lots of fluff rep for giving away their old systems tho :)

i doubt its even noticable at all. BoB has held Delve for how long now? a few years? i'm expecting their wealth to be many hundred billion ISK by now.

i'm fairly certain they have no problem whatsoever to suicide titans on a daily basis for half a year before it even start to show in their wallet :)

i'm just happy they take so long to build so they can't lol..

have to say that PL (and Goons?) probably are smarter then the rest of the universe give them credit for. i bet they do shit like this not only to get down to earth about losing ships, but also to confuse their enemies into thinking they are dumber then they really are.

like confusing the hell out of them only to rape them when their enemies think they have figured it out.

I have known Shadoo posts very biased reports for quite some time. Still at the end of the day he posts them - we don't hear much coming from the other side.

Although they (BoB) killed a few caps last night.

It looks like it is over for Bob - but how long will the massive coalition sit down there?

Bob are outnumbered 2-1 I cannot see NAP train continuing.

I had a very interesting run last night by the way. I am deciding on what to do. To either write it up here or post it to a blog.

Yeah, atleast in Delve. They managed to dig in the last time, but with only sov1 I reckon it would be hard. Must be quite frustrating to be kicked out after what, 3 years?

From my time in Celes I have contacts in both bob and Goon. Kenzoku are doing what any alliance in their position does. Get as many assets as they can to NPC stations, clone jump somewhere else for roaming shits n giggles.

They're outnumbered way more than 2-1. The numbers that Goon, PL, Rzr & co can call on are staggering. Bear in mind MM and half of the NC bandwagon are in the North still. If needed they will be moving down south to help. There's no chance of any alliance facing those numbers without multiple titan support and cyno jammers.

Goon are now living in Delve. It's a great tactic imo, pull all their stuff up and move lock, stock n barrel to destination. It's win or bust for them so I suspect they'll do very well.

Pl have some of the best pvpers and Fc's in eve. I despise their metagaming but you would be an idiot not to respect their pilot's prowess in game. Goon also have some good fc's but really they rely on the lol I died mentality and camraderie to keep spirits high. They're two very motivated alliances and I'd imagine they're alot of fun to be in.

I still hope kenzoku pull it out of the fire however. The one bad thing about 0,0 in eve is that it always comes down to the blob. It's a shame but then I guess it was inevitable given the concequences of losing ones space.

Yeah nice post mate I completely agree. Lets face it Bob invented the blob and now they have made Eve in their own image. I guess it was coming - but for me it is sad confirmation of how the game has gone. What never ceases to amaze me is that people stuill manage to get a lot of fun out of it - despite the blobs.

thats very true - it is incredibly ironic. What is also incredibly ironic is just how sad they ALL sound. Now instead of one Bob we have 3 dozen of them all doing exactly what Bob did before. Its like none of the other alliances realise they have all become Bob.

And that's why I'll play my happy little game in my happy little world while people who take themselves seriously get homed in on and spanked.

What goes around comes around. It's been BoB's time for come-uppance after a great run. PL, Goons et al. will get their's in time.

I honestly don't think the whole NAP is going to hold. I suspect that a lot of people are going to go home and leave a status quo for a bit. I could be wrong though.

Scrapheap Challenge :: View topic - Delve, Period Basis & Somewhere

Shadoo said:
Excellent fights tonight (Monday) in Delve again -- thanks for making the region fun again A+co.

Our evening started early with rumours of A+co fleet incoming, which we suspected to be a diversion to get GKC into PR and out with assets. As such we divided into few groups -- the Anti-A squad: PL was in HACs + backup DDs should they be needed, while NC+GF were the bulk of the force in Carriers + support. The anti-GKC squad was going to be TCF and whoever else was unlucky to remain behind in PR.

A+co formed around 18:00 and made their way to 49-, where they settled in to shoot a tower. Unfortunately we weren't fully formed up at this point (PL sucking more than everyone else) so a tower was put in reinforced. Not set to shoot another tower however, A+co fleet started to make way few jumps out of 49 towards now gathering GF+NC support fleet. The two forces met in l3- with A setting up on one side of the gate while SE+COVEN setup at a different system ready sandwitch in the GF+NC force.

Reports were about 120-140 A/ROL, 130-140 SE/COVEN with friendly fleet reported at this stage @ 150. Difference was, NC+GF cynoed in 30 carriers to system which quickly went up a LOT more as engagement started.

Hostiles jumped in, unopposed pretty much and made way to Planet 6 I believe at first where GF+NC carriers were staged. Fight ensued and soon both A/ROL and SE/COVEN fleets were committed with GF+NC carriers bubbled up to wazoo. PL had stopped sucking at this point and we had 40 HACs+recons ready to bridge in with 7 Titans as backup. Our initial plan was to DD COVEN/SE on entry to system, but we just could not get cynos situated to our satisfaction in the extreme lag system was experiencing Sad.

Therefore a backup plan was deviced which included cynoing in 2 titans @ main battle on P6 and 3 titans at the sun where the hostiles were seen aligning to. All this while we bridged in our support fleet @ P3 to fight catch straglers.

Well, as all plans -- this had one major issue with it... lag. Our cyno went up @ P6 as planned and 2 DDs were fired... Of course since in these kinda lag situations it takes 10-20 min from cyno up to damage landing -- nothing really was caught. But the plan involved opening cyno 1min later @ sun and putting 3 titans there with dictors hoping to catch the fleet as they landed. Well... I pressed decloak... and waited... and waited... and waited.

The hostile fleet came in and mostly killed off whatever small support gang that was there trying to bubble and still my cloak would not deactivate Evil or Very Mad. So we went to backup plan and jumped 3 titans to Planet 3 where our support hard earlier bridged in to and aligned out to the sun. Shortly after we warped 3 titans to the sun and fired off 2 DDs. Of course, it now being about 10mins AFTER A+co fleet had landed there -- very little was caught and hostiles warped off leaving titans to SS.

We had one titan DD left + 2 in reserve so we went to work with out HAC fleet cathing warp outs everywhere and bubbling up gates where reinforcements were coming in. A+co fleet were reported to be back in fight now @ P5 after random few scraps @ P1 / P6. Fight was at this stage, not going great as carriers coming in were e-warping out and after loading up -- ended up out of RR range of the carrier swarm. I believe we lost several carriers this way a this stage of the fight, so more DDs were called in.

So... off we went again to work trying to get a warpin in the lag and morre importantly trying to get more friendly hictors in system since ALL our cynos had died pretty much (except for Gobbins who put one up, only to find out it was COVERT cynogen... Rolling Eyes). Luckily he was able to eject enough ozone for our primary cyno to put his up again and we bridged in 4 HICtors.

Plan this time was simple -- warp 1 titan to P5 fight and DD and put 2 titans + 4 hictors to P1 where the hostiles were aligning to. And as is the case with all simple plans -- this worked to perfection. As a bonus, a large part of the fleet was bubbled @ P5 now that lag had cleared somewhat and Dyami got a decent shot in as well.

As the fleet gang warped to P1, they landed in 4 hictor bubbles with 2 titans already on grid with 2 DDs going off as they came out of warp. Unluckly. We did bring in 2 more titans in the end to try to catch the pods arriving on our cyno gate, but ended up never firing off the DDs as friendly fleet was in quick pursuit of pod kills as well.

Carriers + support cleaned up and remaining hostiles logged off after aggro -- thus we all made home with belly full of loot.

I think everyone had fun -- Titans were warping left right and centre, but A+co fleet was very much on top of it, until the last fatal mistake.

edit: During this whole engagement, emergency call did come in from PR- where GKC forces had apparently broken into. We did send a cyno up there hoping to catch a DD with our 2 G-TT backup titans -- but just as we were about to light a cyno on the station with hostiles dragged into a bubble -- a TCF fleet (as planned) landed on grid and fougth them off. GKC fleet quickly retreated to NOL before we managed to get a good cyno spot on the gate Sad. TCF guys can probably report this fight better than I can since all my info is based on jabber.

What do you think of this report? 7 titans - that was 7 titans.

I am sorry but that is as gay as it comes.
