That Xtrema shotgun. The recoil looks ridiculously low on it, and the sound is pathetic too. Is it shooting normal cartridges? Or are they very low load or something? My memories of 12 bore shooting is that teh recoil gets pretty uncmfortable after a few dozen shots

They are low load shells. But a semi-auto does have a lot less recoil than a old fashioned gun. It uses the gas from the first shot to eject the cartridge and load the second. Thus, theres less recoil as some of its being "used".
My gun uses a slightly different system, using the recoil of the gun to eject the shells.This means I get a bit more percieved recoil, but no cleaning of tubes, and no jams.
Mine = win!

No they would be shit for hunting. But I think the sound is modified. My shotty firing clay carts makes a huge noise, and so should they!
