There is no personal info displayed, your wonid can be obtained by anyone connected to a server. Your IP is logged but not displayed.

So how would this lead to hacking? You are taking a very naive and uninformed view and making a rash decision based on that view. Still its made me chuckle.

As for the web browing comparative:
Any site can log your details, and many do. They log your IP, they log what pages you visit, they log what times you're on, they can track for more details than BW do on their servers.
Check your cookies for advertisement ones.

All i can say is that you really are a bit of a nonce for taking this view. The CLQ logs almost as much as BW does, however it displays slightly less. It displays the minutes you've played per week, and assuming you've played for more than 90mins a week, then it shows details for every game you played everyweek.

Imo stats are a good thing, allthough stats which are catered to the game are best. It sounds as if these ones are quite good with logging objective based info.

Can you clearly list your objections for the stats, in a list, without rambling on. I've gathered:
**1**Fear of WON ID on display.
**2**Fear of aliases being discovered.
**3**Fear of poor performance being credited to you
**4**Fear of game time and times of play being known.

The first one is just BS, the 2nd two are laughable - Aliases are lame - and the 4th one is paranoia.
I leave the house about 5 times a week(7d) atm. Do i give a toss? No. Do people think i'm an anti-social loser? Wel that's a compliment in my book

After trawling around the CS servers, I didn't find anywhere to suit me better and eventually succumbed to the charms of BW servers ... In other words, I am back and after a few ggs I too pottered off to HlStats 4 a look. Is this a retraction, well no, I still think too much information is displayed there however in light of no1 else being bothered to object or voice complaint I can only assume I was wrong to object , sry 4 all the fuss Crapini

I think u were right to voice your concerns crapini, and I still think that the logging of time info is of no interest to other players, and should be removed

As you said the time info is of no interest to other players, so who fuckin cares? The only stats i have looked at are my own!! *shock*

I mean, the information may be considered private by some but nobody actually cares what time anyone else was connected.
I dont even look at times in my stats.
I've only taken interest in the " I Killed "someone" with skill (and some sort of gun)"

no offence to anybody but when they played doesnt interest me at all in any way... however the alias thing concerns me slightly, not for my own play but another more subtle reason which im not gonna get into on a public forum
