To define a GREAT player, I would have to say someone that has respect for other players; friend or foe, also someone that doesnt use a buffbot(wheres the skill involved when u can kill any class np).
RP's is not a measure of a great player.

In case you didn't know, Stt has been playing the game since beta like a lot of other people. Has a lot of friends, has levelled 4 characters to 50, is a great player and a nice person. The fact one of those chars is a buffbot is largely irrelavent.
Saying that a botted char can kill any class np is also complete bollocks. If you didn't know, Sst is DW specced (no Perforate Artery, no Creeping Death), and therefore has no way to stop you (or any hib caster) from QC-stunning and nuking to death without any requirement for skill or tactics, or buffs, or level 50, or anything else.
If Sst has been able to take you down without any problems at all each time you meet, then sure, why not laugh at you? You were obviously playing like a n00b and deserve to be laughed at.

Despite i dont like /laugh at dead ppl (only if they done it to me before), i think an infil wo PA+CD, even with buffbot, requieres skill n tactics, specially if u wanna avoid the "friendly" qcstun+nuke+nuke+/release.
However, in my personal opinion mercfiltrator is kindda crazy infil specc if u dont have a bot.

WTF! skills and tactics? u sound liek a fooking hib xD a mercfiltrator = shadowzerker, they ain't a rare spec anymore and can still take a mage in 3-4 hits so its not really uber skill evern if ur unbuffed

Im not saying he is uber coz his specc, only that mercfiltrators need to be much more carefully (tactic here) since they dont have the stun style of CS, n cant do the 700+ damage of PA on a caster.
Personally i dont like this specc but its as valid as others if u play it well.
And if im not wrong Shadowzerkers >> Mercfiltrators.

Explain to me why a shadowzerker is anymore reliable vs a mage? and also why the fuck would anyone roll a mercfiltrator if they are not good, i have played against sst numerous times and they hit hard as fook and are jsut as strong as SZ's

this my friend is all to do with the timing of drangon fang (df is the only good style for MercFil)..time it right and u ll win 90% of solo encanters..what RAs is also a major factor to be a sucessfull MercFil..

Aye SC stun that will last about 4-6 seconds if im lucky, then the PBAOE after the QC stun is interupted due to a gay bug, so I get 1 pbaoe off and a 2nd if very lucky.
And with SC 26% energy resists.. about 300-450 dmg.

PS: And i think the damage of a pure shadowzerker is higher than a mercfiltrator (both wo buffs oc) so thats coz a wrote sz>mercftrtr

SSt is not a bad player no, never said he/she was but the damage from a pure SZ is very close to that of a mercfiltrator have duelled both unbuffed and don't see a hreat difference to write home about

Both SZ and MercInf should have enough points for CS 10 for Backstab II, meaning dead mage 90% of the time. I use Backtab II - Snowsqual - Icy Brillinace and adding in DoT that usually does the trick. I don't know Sst spec in detail, but I guess from what I'm reading here he does not have CS10...meaning skilled mages can be hard to take out.

How would we know? The RR she/he has gotten is from a buffbot. So even if he/she stops using it, it's still not judgeable. So no, if you have a buffbot. The words skilled or not skilled should not be used at all..

For the note: I'm not against people bragging. In general. I wouldn't mind Elasias bragging for example. Why? Well he has no buffbot, he has earned all?(or most?) his rp not using a buffbot. That u CAN respect, however, you CANNOT, in NO way respect a player using it to get high rr.
