Good SBs and bad SBs

Koboldy is only specced for the 33 sec mezz, not that it matters but stupid argument anyways. Stealthers are shockingly hard in BGs, and I just don't see why one such stealther would wanna "protest" against the ability of a Paladin !!!


Pala gets:
Chants
Rubbish Damage
Plate
Insta Taunt


SB/NS/INF gets:
Crit Strike styles from stealth - Awesome damage
Crit Strike style - Anytime snare
Envenom - snare disease poison all usefull at any given time
Stealth - Pick targets(don't stand next to soon to be mezzed targets)
Better Damage Output - I think than any other melee class in bgs, when used in conjunction with poisons ofc
Throwing Axes/Xbow/(whatever NS gets) - NURF i want to throw things :>

I just don't see why any assasin class would really wanna make it sucky for a Paladin, What should happen is Paladin gets mezzed and forgotten about till someone cba killing him!

well the reason for my Protest is just based on my "neutral" opservation ! i mean i know that i would never be able to solo a paladin ! but i saw what dmg u give in bg 1 then i start thinking about making a 2H savage on mid they hit a bit faster with there Spedd buff so they are uber cool with largweaps ! but i know what will happen in the next patch ! "savage nerfing" haste buff only works on H2H. Buffs have half use time now ! and they take more life ! i just think that is wrong when u give so much dmg and have a nice blue shinning plate armor it is just wrong my friend ..

Edit: Ruric - polearm user - hits like a thing possessed - just under 200 a shot - ouch!

its fun when people think that a sorcerer will spec 24 mind at lvl 24 for the aoe mezz that comes at 24...That something like a suicide spec, giving the sorc 0.0000000 more than only 1 aoe mezz, making their lifetap hit for 20 damage once and maybe 60 damage other time, so dream more about a sorcerer mezz lasting more than 20 seconds

well tbh the only way a SB (read : CB) can take on a tank in plate is if

a) they are afk
b) they kite
c) they baf

i prefer to use technique 2 and i see nothing wrong with it, you really expect a SB to hit you and just stand there and die?

yep, like all think healers spec pac to 50 so they have all insta cc

Well all the current batch of SBs suck quite a lot. Bit pathetic when they have to run in groups to kill unbuffed soloers.

I hit and run with my inf all the time in BG, doesn't make me bad.

I have high envenom so when DoT lands I leg it and let the poison do the work. All depends on your spec as to how you play tbh.

My sorc is 24 mind spec, some may know of her as Lure. Imo it's a damn good spec in Thid, i get a 40 odd second aoe mezz with a 1875 range. I can charm lvl23 gobbo pets, i've solo'd a bm + eld with the mezz and right debuffs as wel as some stealthers
My targetted dot has a huge variance (from 10-50 odd) but it stops stealthers from vanishing and casters from doing their job so i'm happy.

It's just so much fun to stop the advancing mids in their tracks with ae mezz. But trigger happy matter cabalists normally stop that, which i don't mind if i'm grouped with them

With koboldys 17body 16 mind spec you can still get lvl 23 pets. IMO the best thidranki spec available by far, as said we have taken out fgs before as 2, very rarely but as a 3 with a poler assisting me the lvl 15aemezz is sufficient and I much prefer the bonus of the sorcs nukes(approx 110 after resists etc) and a hell of a lot less power needed to cast the spec one as opposed to the LT. The LT is like a get out of jail free as we rarely had a cleric/friar.

Allthough if I was to run in a fg in thid then yea probs spec full mind, but tbh the few times I ever ran in a fg it felt very much like overkill

Dirty tricks is part of my char's natural arsenal. Your buffs are not.

It's very simple. I was alone. I was standing still. You deliberately tested if it was a trap - and then went to get a friend to help.

Yesterday in Thid, me, a pally and an arms were roaming when a solo SB did a hit-n-run on pally. Got away too. Came back and hit pally again. Almost had her that time, but got away.. After pally died, she came back and went for me. Resisted snare, and I didn't style at all, spent all end on sprinting. Was sooo close to killing her, but silly as I was I hadn't noticed how close to mpk she'd led us. Needless to say, the 2FG who were hiding there even though /who thid said 10 albs, ganked me bigtime.

So sorry I can't remember the name, female norse, ends with -lina I think.

You /send her Mortes, and you take notes. Much respect for what she did there.

Btw, what's the other (as in not Thid Blitz) guild group in there atm? Also blue cloaks.. I was chasing a hunter, and had just given up, when I spotted this group, so I ran, hoping they hadn't seem me. They had ofc, and what with skald speed + end regen and me being ooe at that point, I realized running was futile, so I thought "hey, it's Thid Blitz, got better chance of not dying if I stop and /surrender".

Long story short (actually, was a very short story, 2 SMs hurt when you don't try to stop them from doing so hehe), I was ganked as I'd expected when I first saw them..

Anyways, I'm mostly glad they're there, mids seem less reluctant to leave their pk then.. They should ease of the emoting and corpse jumping a bit though, imo
