Good public UK servers

Hi,

I've not played CS:S in quite some time, can anyone recommend a suite of UK public servers I can play on? Do jolt still have public servers?

Any help appreciated.

Hi Big G,

I'm not sure about Jolt, Wireplay have a few servers but they aren't terribly busy when I check on them.

Our server (Cows with guns) is on: 195.20.108.19:27015
18 man; ff on; no AWPs or auto snipers.

Pretty full most nights of the week, a friendly bunch, mostly 20+ years old, with a couple of well behaved youngsters

Personally, I use xfire to find a server (http://www.xfire.com), it's also useful in that u can contact an admin, or other players from in game. There's usually an admin logged on even if they're not playing CS.

Other servers I use are:

KEA (87.117.194.89:27015) which throdgrain & others from here use. I endeared myself to a few with a cracking teamflash last time I was on .

Dad's Army (195.20.108.26:27022)

No Fear (81.19.208.29:27025)

We have a good laugh on our server but the problem is we have a match most weekday nights so it is closed for an hour between 9 and 10pm usually.

Apart from that its a nice server(now its been sorted out).

The KEA server I'm on about....in case you didn't know.....jockface.

Good servers, nice pings, no wanky mods, decent crowd. Know sweet FA about the uni, but defo a good set.

Jolt still have CS servers but I find they're still inhabited by a bit of a low order crowd at times. Later in the evening they tend to be good.

The Teeside Uni ones are good with a decent range of new players upto some quality players. I myself prefer the servers without custom maps on and childish admins
