Hey, i'm looking for a good pair of headphones as over the last few days my ones have become really bad. Need them for gaming/listening to music and must have a mic on em :) Any recommendations?

In about 6 years ive gone through about 12-15 pairs of Headsets, they really dont last long at all.

Ive used the main types, like Plantronics, Logitech, Labtec etc but all at some point have failed me (Whether its the mic that stops sending, or one or both earphones which stop recieving) it just gets silly.

I have now got the SpeedLink Medusa 5.1 headset, although i had absolutely no idea it come with its own Amp to plug everything in, i expected it to be like all the other headsets ive had. I ended up breaking off one of the pins within 5mins so my hopes wasnt set highly at the beginning, then i have a constant buzzing noise (From this thread ) which is still currently unresolved.

Although the headset ive found is superb, and it still works (!) without that one pin thankfully, but there is just so many leads im in despair.

People will probably also recommend the Seinheiser headsets, best of the best, dearest of the dearest :p

I like my Sennheiser PC150s. Yeah they aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for. They've lasted a number of years and have very good sound quality and a decent mic. Also they're the most comfortable headphones I've used for prolonged periods.

sennheiser all the way. Got a pair about 5 years ago for £100 from Richer Sounds. Never let me down, they are comfortable and sound great with games, movies and music. Mine are just headphones though, not headset mic, but I cant recommend the company enough.

Thats the PC160 / 165 which are SK branded. Supposidly not better sound wise due to lower impedence but they are open ear so are more comfortable.

Your 14, your whole body will grow at a massive rate in the next few years if it hasnt already. Most headphones are adjustable.

Yeah they should do - they're adjustable to fit small heads.

I got a pair of Beyerdynamic dt880s for xmas, and they sound brilliant. Thomann has the cheapest price, and delivered when they said they would. I'll be buying a headphone amp in the future, which comes reccomended for these headphones anyway - http://www.dansdata.com/dt880.htm ... and there are plenty other positive reviews out there.

I would recomend the icemataudio headset... i bought them a while back not only do they look neat they fit very nicly cause of the headband.. only problem if you have biig ears.. if you dont have good soundcard just get the combo(headset+usb-soundcard) the mic is clip-on but you can just fit it on the cord.
