The game went Gold today [The final version before release]. I also read that it will be in stores on the 12th September but that was an american game site [www.gamespydaily.com]. Do you think we will get it on the 12th? or will we have to wait for the official launch date.

I doubt it. Like many publishers they've embarked on a sweet deal with GameSpy. They're highly unlikely to give away their precious info to All-Seeing Eye.

Shame though.

Hello I just had my reply from EA Support on BF1942 and ASE Support. Reply below:

Hi Peter

As you know, ASE is not currently supported by BF1942, however there is a workaround to get the servers in your ASE client. I realise this isn't ideal, but at this stage this is all I can suggest.

The steps for adding the UK BF1942 servers to ASE are as follows:

1. Add a game you don’t have installed
2. Add a new server manually
3. You should now be able to see the servers

The UK Servers require these settings

Gametype (anything you haven’t got installed)
IP 159.153.177.98
Port 14567
Query Port 23000

Gametype (anything you haven’t got installed)
IP 159.153.177.98
Port 14568
Query Port 23001

Gametype (anything you haven’t got installed)
IP 159.153.177.99
Port 14567
Query Port 23000

Gametype (anything you haven’t got installed)
IP 159.153.177.98
Port 14568
Query Port 23001
