No Golestandt died, but there was only the darkblue message depicting his demise, but no orange death message, and no loot dropped at all.

Right after the blu message i got 'You have an invalid target' and that was it. Golenstadt gone, but no loot.

Note that at the start of the log, I was meleeing the dragon - but yet got no ' suschandsuch drops to the ground' messages.

Nor did anyone else if you take a look at the bottom of the log.

what about all those 'you target the loot but it isn't yours' msgs?
i mean, yeah it could be other msgs... but with everyone shouting 'PICK THE LOOt' etc. surely they could see it? either that or albs are more irritating than i remembered

The loot targetting messages were Granite Giant adds and idiots dropping Hibernian Medals of Passage all over the damn lair.

but there is a bug . on my raid my bro could see the 'non picked up loot' , while i couldn't see it.
was standing next to him. could see my screen and his.

I just automatically screamed pick up loot, cos ppl have a natural tendency not to... also i did ground target and saw some DM item so i figured that was the dragon loot... turned out that one of the giant adds dropped 1 item...

He really didnt drop anything, check the bottom of the chat, what i say there ;)

sounds like a minstrel used a lvl 54+ pet which negated all loot and exp. many mincer has been trying to spoil dragon raids with those high lvl pets

Mobs only affect loot if they do most of the damage. Unless there are some special rules for minstrel pets of course. Only npcs nominated as guards eliminate xp/loot in one stroke.

I can tell you this because my cabalist has been xping in the dales lately, and I've killed so many of the constructs that the draks are friendly to me.

So I stand in a drak camp double dotting the surrounding constructs. They run at me but the draks intercept and finish off the constructs.

All very quick since I don't have to make much effort managing pet aggro/healing/buffing.

I suspect it would be even better for a scout or wizard.

Anyway - point of the story is that if the draks do <50%ish of damage I seem to get full loot, 50-99% I get 'some copper coins' and seems to have to be 100% before nothing drops.

I doubt the mincer pet was doing *that* much damage.

All that said, npc doing > 50% f the damage was the reason that the US players got no loot the very first time the alb dragon was killed.

Fortunately for them, Mythic provided the appropriate loot.

I havent tried myself.. but I am pretty sure lvl 54+ pets just need to touch the mob to negate all loot and exp
