Golden Spear usuable by armsmen?

it says on VoS only usuable by scout,mincer,infiltrator
can't it be activated in polearms version?
any help appreciated

Something I also find pretty weird, why no artifact xbow? Would ben ice just for a bit of a laugh with my armsman, I mean Mythic obviously seem to thinks its a decent tool so why no artifact one?

Who'd go to the hassle of levelling an artifact crossbow,

But anyway, get a sidi crossbow, nice speed and has a stre/con debuff charge you can use without having to equip it, a nice way to start off a fight with a bit of an edge.
