Gold Sellers, a serious question

I honestly cant see why MMO games dont treat gold buys VERY harshly.

They pay for their subs and usually they make quite a bit cash to the developers/company so they not all that harsh on them.

I'm sure that since GOA have claimed they will have 24/7 support in game, then maybe each server can have game masters that will sit in popular selling area's and just ban accounts that repeatidly sell gold in public.
