Just seen a trailer for it:

Looking alright I thought, nice variety to have a some centurions or slingers etc as underlings rather than just relying on yourself.

Fights looks a bit crazy as well, some real nasty looking deaths there

Honestly? Looks like another generic MMO with some extra "flash" in the fighting(beat 'em up style).

Now-a-days, game trailers rarely show anything "special" and you just have to read what they have in the gameplay. And the lack of content usually is relatively compared to how much "flash" they have to show to sell it

I think if you're into ancient Rome like myself you'll find it interesting, problem is as you've just said Olgaline - I doubt it's got the marketing and really doubt they've invested the time to put in content. although content can be added continuously.

Its done by perpetual, who also aquired the rights to do a star trek mmorpg 3 years ago.

So far all they ahve relased is some concept art and limited screenshots.

Get the impression its one guy in his shed based on how long it takes them to do anything constructive.

By the time the games are released there old old old.

It's too bad that they have to ruin the ancient Rome feeling with silly magics and whatnot. Would have been a must-buy for me otherwise.

Levin - got to agree it doesn't need all the special effects etc, would be nice to have a non-flashy game that was all about blood and guts.
