Haha, since when isn't 4 o'clock in the afternoon not a normal hour then:confused: You guys took them at 8 or 9 o'clock on a sunday morning, which is far less normal... Ok, I couldn't participate either cuz of work, but you can hardly expect people to go for relics only at certain hours, so everyone can join or defend....

LOL, dont start that again, I wasnt criticising you. Just a bit miffed I never get to go on raids because people always organise it when the server is empty.

I see a pattern emerging here...

That's how it generally is most successful.

And what time was it when Midgard originally took the relics, close to 3am if I remember.

/em stirs it up ;)

Doubt there will ever be a so called prime time..

Some people work during the day, play during the evening and sleep at night.
Others play during the evening and night and sleep through the morning into the afternoon.
Then there's a time difference of 2 hours between people playing in, let's say, Finland and England... So it might be a reasonable time for English people to raid at 11pm, but it's 12pm or 1am in the rest of Europe then. Just like when it's only 9am in the morning when it can be 11am elsewhere.

4pm raids (like the Mid one) are just as 'prime time' as 9am raids.. Some work during one and others sleep during the other...

IMO, the only real 'prime time' raid can be at 7-9pm GMT. Most people returned from work then and noone is asleep yet (i hope :p ). But we all know raids at this time are just impossible, since servers will crash and every Alb/Mid/Hib and his dog shows up... Have to admit 4pm raids are a bit more fair than 9am raids tho. ;)

Then again, during weekends there'll be different situations. :D

yeah, thats why we took the relics in the late afternoon when we were sure there couldnt be any defenders around...
[/irony]

atleast on our raids we dont have set our alarm clocks to get up at ungodly hours, just to fight NPC's

and it feels good to have the str relics back where they belong!
it feels good to have a 100% 16.2 dps bow
it feels good to have Realm Rank 5

you are forgetting a small detail like at that time we took the relics after a several hours long siege, that begun early in the evening...... none of neither us we you had to set our alarm clocks to join that battle

you need your head examined if you honestly belive that statement

I agree with Coren as my sleep cycle can change dramatically. Recently I've started going bed earlier, e.g. 11pm, which enables me to get up earlier without feeling like death warmed up.

People can work morning, evening or night shifts. Whats so hard to believe?

Why exactly, Blood? I know damned well that almost ALL of our guild's officers were still at work when you took the relics yesterday. How can that be any more primetime than 9am on a Sunday?

You guys are so full of shite about primetime this and primetime that. Just live with it, people will attack whenever they want to.

I honestly believe I'm awake at 9am and at work at 4pm, yes. Different people, at different times ingame, with different views on prime times. Some people won't set their alarm clocks for a raid, others won't leave work for them...

All viewed from a personal point of view, if you can't understand that, you need your head examined...

Have to admit 4pm raids are a bit more fair than 9am raids tho.

See, I'm not that much in need of a head examination. ;)

9am is not exactly early. But for example we might aswell complain if some mids or hibs raid at 4am +2 GMT when in england it is only 2am. Depends on point of view.

Can we please stop arguing over the time of day (or night) a raid takes place, and how it was primetime or not, and how brave and honorable and mighty the attackers/defenders were? That's about as pointless as whining about slow patching.

You win, you loose, you return the favour. And that's it.

Lets just look at the online ppl on prydwen on sundays 9am and 4pm?

id say the triple on 4pm from 9am? :m00:  :m00:

stop whining about time, this mid raid was fair and square, no doubt about that.

Albs did not repair relic doors, did no take back Beno, u kinda invited mids too take the relics..... ...

Forgive me if im wrong but i just had to say my thought's

Prydwen is an English Server

So in all honesty surely that would mean primetime is around 6pm - 1am on a weekday and anytime for a weekend.

What we now need to do though is cut out all this crap about what time a relic is taken, and face the fact that anyone who plans a raid will do it when an opposing realm is at it's weakest.

To us Albion's lets get ourselves a capable force and kick these miserable cur's who have taken something that dos'nt belong to them.

Guerilla Warfare Scout of 22 Season's

One last point: I might need my head examined but at least they will find a working brain

Sure, there were more online at 4pm than at 9am, but that doesn't make a raid a 'prime time' raid. And I'm not whining about the time and unfairness or whatever, you did well. I'm just 'whining' about some people claiming this one was prime time. It's called prime time when most people are on, not when there are 'more online than at 9am'.

Prepare to set you alarm clocks early every single weekend from now on. ;)

Puts phone down, excuse me, I really need to leave work early today.

Why? Is there something wrong?

Yes, those damn middies are trying to take our relics and I have to get home to help defend them

hehe... hee...

Ah and umm... PLEASE do not tell me you mean english as in "british" server... because this is most CERTAINLY NOT that, this is an english language server. English l-a-n-g-u-a-g-e, language.... server. So primetime does not go by GMT only... you english english people are not even close to the majority of players so in that sense aswell.
But of course I do not know if you meant this as in british but meaning the language the comment would make no sense :)
