GOA PLS READ, IMPORTANT: What about people who have changed their e-mail address?

My provider went bankrupt a few days ago, meaning that my e-mail account has changed when GOA's page was down. The e-mail in your records is my old e-mail address, which is not valid anymore.

Now how will I retrieve my new password?

I've read a few other threads and noticed that many people have the same problem. Some because their address changed recently, others because they simply didn't realize GOA would ever send something important to this e-mail address.

I can't contact you by phone or RightNow, as my password is not valid anymore. What now?

Since you have a subscription problem however you can email subscription@goa.com and they'll probably snail mail it to you or something (I've heard people that have done that before)

The mail we get now should just be game pass... So i think they will get the sub pages up before changing the sub pass to save them alot of work, give ppl a chanse to check that the currrent email is the right one

I am in same boat as the poster with 2 acc's :0 ............ but has anybody who has actually got an e-mail received a new Game + SUB user / password Or just a new Game user / pass ?

if it's the later u can just go into the sub page < when its up :x> and change ur loggin in pass to something u want < not the old 1 ofc > and update ur E-mail addy. Then you shud be fine if they havent changed the sub user / pass

changing the game passowors.... yes, that will hinder the hackers from using other peoples accounts.

changine peoples subscription password then 'EMAIL' them to the customer ... hmmm, if someone was snooping the traffic coming outta their smtp server, they have alot of passwords.

i think atleast 90% of the ebay'ed accounts changed their emails, its more the people who created the account from the start that will forget to change their email addy to a new one when the old one doesnt work anymore.
