GOA just post and acknowledge the problem

I have been trying to enter subscription page since 07.55 this morning. I don't mind that its slow but WTF cant someone from GOA give us an update.

Kemor please don't insult our intelligence by saying it is all going smoothly, because it clearly isn't. If you could at least give us something to go on it would help.

Yes there is an 80 concurrent connections limit on the webpage, so it a bit crowded now. Just remember not to press F5 or refresh since that will only refresh the error msg, you have to click the account link.

Give it a few hours and hopefully some of the presssure is off the registration server.

Okay, evertime I hit account on the web page it asks for my username and password now.

I enter this and I get a busy message again.

Yup, I got that a few times at home before coming in to work. Basically you need there to be room on 2 accesses to get in. Lunch breaks are over, system easing up, I bet you'll be in soon

what the hell they running on teh backend!? even MS Access DB suppports 255 concurrent users.

Here's a thought. Rather than endlesly trying to get through, why not turn the PC off and go do something else for a while until the server is a little less hammered. I hear they have things called books now to go with those long lost activities of socialising, walking and a whole other host of none DAoC related activities.

Not unless you pay every 6 months and it gets automatically updated so you don't have to worry about re-subscribing.
