[GOA] Christmas Quest 2003

I hate to do this, but... has anyone made any progress on this quest yet?
I need to collect some gems, but I can't find out how..

I could roll a new lowbie character and kill soms mobs for it, but I somehow doubt that's the intention of the quest?

got a goa quest from someone in vasudheim (will check name in 5 mins) to kill some monk for a relic in snowdonia .

That's an old one, it was the second quest added (after the Fylgja quest)
It's called Chopped Silver if I'm not mistaken.

yep skald of midgard pointed me towards that one (as I hadnt done that on yet). Forgotten it was an old quest though.

I seem to have an albion weapon aswell now (killed some alb mob), 12.6 dps 2.6 spd, slash, left hand useable (i completed the boar tusk quest one time drop ).

Maybe the skellies that are near Audliten at night, but I haven't tried them yet.

Did a quick search on google, according to that link the highest drop rate of any mid mob for that item is from the rattling skeleton.

tnx, and those can be found near jordheim (so prolly best to /level a zerk/warrior and smash those skeletons head in). So will try and kill them tomorrow.

Yeah, I killed those until level 3, but no aventurines
Then I had to take care of more important matters, guess I'll try again

After getting the aventurine from a rattling skeleton (in the Mularn area) with a level 1 - 4 character, you will need to craft a weapon, or get someone to craft a weapon.

There was confusion about what weapon was supposed to be used, as the text mentions both a 'barbed axe' and a 'dagger'.
Someone told me a Bronze Bearded Axe worked, quality doesn't seem to matter as long as it's crafted.

As for the reward: see for yourself

41mil exp and 10g at lvl 50 but you get a nice view of the tree
