Global Warming

I read once that 70% of the global warming gasses come from cows farting. So in my opinion we need to breed a geneticaly modified cow that dont fart. Perhaps we could breed a cow that gets "milked" for its farts so we can run our cars off it.

Lot of missinformation out there regarding a lot of things.

I work in the Agrochems industry and one of my pet hates is organic foods. Do you have any idea what "organic" farmers spread on their fields?

At least with our stuff we go through years of trials before a product becomes safe to sell.

An "organic" farmer (who dont want to loose crops to disease, pests or weeds any more than any other farmer) can spray stuff on his crops so long as its a naturally occuring chemical.

This means that "organic" produce can be sprayed with stuff like copper sulphate and still retain its title for which people pay a premium in the shops.

I know what I'd rather have.

When the man-made global warming bandwagon finally loses it's wheels and slides into a ditch all that will be left is a profound distrust of 'Experts' and 'Known truths' and 'Consensuses'.

Which is a good thing of course, because history is littered with destroyed 'Abseloute truths' and long may it continue.

It fukin amazes me how this whole caboodle managed to get off the drawing board, it's was so shot full of holes to start with it's quite simply sailed on a wave of western guilt

We didn't do it, we can't stop it and we are NOT going to stop burning fossil fuels, in fact I can guarantee we will burn shed loads more and it won't make an ounce of difference, the miniscual effect C02 has on temperature has allready happened and is logarithmic, adding more has less and less effect.

CO2 IS A VERY MINOR GREENHOUSE GAS AND IS ALSO CRUCUAL TO LIFE ON THIS PLANET, ALL THE PLANTS ARE MADE FROM IT.
