Giving blood

When I was at Uni the blood Transfusion service brought a mobile van to take blood from student volunteers, after they screened the blood of course...

They then gave whoever had donated blood a free beer...never had alcohol hit me so fast! Well apart from a stupid Tequila incident...

I gave blood regularly till I started to work in Africa, maybe that's Yaruar's reason too ? Apparently malaria is a bitch to test for so they say no thnaks to me. I still get a nice letter telling me when I can donate, but I have not had the platelets and marrow letter yet.
