Redundancy looms...
Out-tasking (that's manager-speak for sub-contracting) and the decline in travel means this Flatus is going to be out of work soon. :(
Still, it could have been worse. I'm on a 90 day period in which to find another job in the company (yeah right, all the technical positions are going) after which I get given notice. Having been in the company for 15 years, that means another 90 days before I leave in which to find another job. 15 years service also means I get a nice wad as a leaving present :D And more, the company are going to offer pay in lieu of notice which means 3 months pay for doing bugger all :cool:
So, anyone looking for an experienced technician.....I'm free!!!!!

Recently changed jobs myself after being made redundant for the second time in a row.

Dunno about your field of work, but imho there's plenty out there.

BarrysWorld is looking for a work-from-home techie but I doubt they're offering the sort of cash you're after. Maybe this is fate, though? Perhaps the good Rev is destined to work right here.

Had a look at that out of curiosity. Sounds a great job, got all the skills asked for except NT/2000. Had enough of unsocial hours as well though, well when you get to my age...grumble moan etc.

BTW, there are vacancies for impregnating chickens down Someguys way - he might be able to get you a job. :D
