Anyone using it ?

My local shop is selling the blades (pack of 3) for £4.99. Is that cheap ??

havnt used them, but i have an electric razor. in the long run saves so much money. and to be honest always got a better shave out of that than any of these "hypermega XZ MK2 20 blade razor with sonic shockwaves and a psychological wavelength transmittor" built in.

I use a Mach-3. I also have an electric razor. For me, the Mach-3 gives a much smoother, closer shave with no irritation.

I quite like the fusion, I think the replacement blade costs are a bit steep though.

No way in hell i am spending £5 on 3 blades. I will no doubt get some gillete man pack for crimbo like i do every year so i will use it til the free blades are blunt then back to the tescos branded throw aways for me.

Damn you sound like a PR person, work in the business? :D

I use the same mach 3 razor, WITH the same blade, i got three years back.

Works like a charm.

Think a lady shaved her naughty bits with it one time along the time too.

Was it you that posted about DE razors and brushes? :)

I decided to give it a try.

Bought a DE razor and shaving brush (nothing expensive) and some decent shaving soap and I have to say I'm really impressed with the results.

Rashes have gone down, get a close shave, and smell nice (soap is lovely)!

So thanks for the tip :)

If none of you have tried it, I suggest going to an old fashioned mens barbershop where they will shave your face with a cut throat razor. Its great!

As I'm asian, I have limited facial hair which limits my shaving to electric.

Started using Mach3 around the time they were introduced and never looked back. Actually I can't think of any other product I've stuck with so long.

Expensive (~8 EUR for 4 at the local shop) but one lasts a week so well worth it, imo.

Yeah Mach 3 is a solid razor not really interested in upgrading.

Pro-tip! its cheaper to buy a new razor with free blades than it is to buy replacement blades :) or it was last time I went for some replacements.

I grow attached to my razor though, its like a good women, you grow used to the way it touches you, you enjoy the closness it provides then when it gets old and skanky you throw that shit out and get a new model.

Also if you mis-use one, they'll cut you.

true, but you get 3 blades in a new pack where as you get 8 blades in a pack of razors, which is only £1-2 more expensive, so in the long run it works out to your advantage to buy a shaver and use the blades then buy a pack of blades.

I use the gillete mach 3 turbo, only coz i lost my mach 3 when we moved so just got that, i wont go for the fusion tho, infact i may go back to my sensor excel days.

Out of curiosity, how often do you all shave?

I shave at least once a day, but quite often its twice day as my hair grows back really fast. I shaved this morning and already I can feel stubble :<
