Time to change my GFX card, suggestions welcome, not the richest man on earth so budget would be nice too.

Nothing fancypants, just something to up the ante on current system;

4gb
64 winny the pooh.

Ati radeon 4600 series jiggywig.

Preferably an easy install ofcourse, so take out stick in plastic surgery for the looks of my comp would be nice.

I just got one of these, and i'm pleased with it so far. It just about holds on running 2 screens with video on one and gaming on the other. Highest graphic level i've tried is black ops, which runs well on highest settings. Very impressed with it for the price.

bud, I recently got a GeForce GTX 570 with the idea of driving two monitors (and also to do a little GPU programming later on in my bachelor. to date it works well, and plays games smashingly. also, under Linux it also works, albeit with Nvidia's own drivers.

Make sure you check the physical dimensions of the card fit your case, some of them are beastly in length.

Getting close to that time for me now. My faithful 4yr old 8800GT has finally met a game it chokes on that I'd quite like to play - Witcher 2.

Was thinking about the 560 TI myself, or something along those lines.

Tbh best bang for the buck comes from nVidia's direction currently. 560 or 570 is your best bet, otherwise it's the 6870 which can be had from just over £100

Just bought a 560ti meself, still waiting for it to arrive. As an added bonus you can get a free copy of Arkham City thrown in if you find the right one.

My cousin is after an upgrade as well I am just trying to decide if he will need to upgrade him 430w Antec power supply going from a 8800 to a new card. He should be fine he only has 1hd and 1 cd rom in with a quad 2.4 and 4gb of ram.

Ive got this one , although it was a tenner cheaper when i bought it , its factory overclocked to 900mhz (822 is standard) but no free game.

Aye, unfortunately. Running it on anything other than shit-o-vision means it runs about 15 fps, which is unbearable tbh, even for a single player game.

BFG has gone bust :'(. They where awesome, seems their lifetime warranty isn't so lifetime though as people have been finding out :'(

Clock speed and shader cores really. The ti has more of them.

The core is at 625, Shaders at 1566 and memory at 900/1800.

Both are TIs but the TOP version is overclocked more , you can compare them both on the asus website. Just click compare on each one.
