No, I dont wax the front but my GF waxes the back (She loves causing me the pain) men with bare chests are weird..hairy backs are sickning though.

Starting to get a bit of a hairy back myself, the shoulder area is what bothers me though as I am worried it will end up growing long/thick and make me look like an ape. My chest is hairy as well but that is easy to keep neat with the occasional traim, shaving your back must be a real bastard though.

After waxing or plucking the hair doesn't grow back thicker. Infact, the first part of the hair growing back is a lot thinner. Perhaps because the hair folicle isn't up to full strength yet.

Also, shaving doesn't make your hair come back thicker or faster. Another urban legend. Hair is dead. If you shave it, it doesn't affect the folicle, or how it grows its hair. It may appear a teeny bit thicker, because with shaving you cut the hair at its base where it's thickest normally, so the end may appear to be a bit thicker, but the hair itself actually did not increase in diameter.

Get your arse down to the supermarket and buy a small waxing kit, at least you know what you are in for if you do a sample patch first.

Personally I would take 3-4 co-codamol before I go mate, waxing for a man is usually alot more painful than it is for women. They often only have to wax those wispy little women hairs off unless they are having the minge waxed which is supposed to be a mega ouch!

Lol a little bit yep, a 7 is fairer but trust me it isn't pleasent from what I have seen and heard. If they do it right and apply the wax properly you should be ok if a bit sore, the problem is if they leave the wax on too long or get too much on the skin, then it hurts alot more from what I am told. As I said before, get a small home waxing kit of you can and test it. Either that or maybe use Immac or some form of hair removal cream?
