Getting abit sick of Every night rvr in emain?

Well, I know i'm getting abit sick of pretty much the same stuff going on in emain... The territory, fights, people etc. They are getting abit too similar...

I have a suggestion:

Would it be possible to move the RvR, to lets say, Albion next monday, telling everyone that, ok, now next week monday rvr:ing starts for 1 week in albion, and put it on all the guild motds.
Then after that week, it could be in Midgard, same thing.

We see where it is the funnest, and if it is emain... then we continue rvring in emain. But if there is more fun in Albion/Midgard, then we could keep it there for awhile...

If this dosn't work, then atleast have 2 places where to rvr since its getting kinda boring that its always emain, always crauchon, and crim, sometimes bolg...

Think all hibs will agree because they know how bloody annoying it is to have crim under attack 24/7 and it is REALLY under attack all the time...

But I doubt if mids/albs are willing to make that long walk all the time.. not like you can go afk like on telepad

Well, lets just all start going to Ablion fronteer (i think ablion looks nicer anyways )
I for one will be there, and i'll bring people with me.
So we just start moving it one by one there... telling people that all the action is there.
So people will have to come there if they wanna see some action.

Bah no, keep them out of albions frontier, to many mobs to spoil the fights. (until later patch anyway). Besides we'd never get any fighting done, all the hibs would be to busy hugging all the masses of new trees we've got there.

Odins is far better, lets move the fights there. Some nice open land and its easier for everyone to get too.

i dont think its emains terrain thats boring . its the zerg or be zerged , very rarely do people goto emain and find some nice even con . even sized armys to fight ., its always 20 hibs vs 10 albs or 20 albs vs 10mids or 20 mids vs10 hibs . gets kinda boring . also the amg and mmg and tk camping sux . rvr in hadrians would be a pain in the ass atm . sure its got some good spots for larger scale battles etc etc . but as stated above there is alotta aggromobs in hadrians .ok so they not high lvl mobs in hads . but they con high enough to aggro ,

odins wouldbe good cos there are some excelent spots for rvr . good spots for ambushes and not many aggro mobs .from what ive seen most the mobs in odins are neutral or friendly .

but i think nomatter where the main rvr is its still gona be the largest zerg who wins , and still wont be many even sized skirmishes .. worth a try though , might even work , but as somebody said above albs arent gonna goto hadrians wall for rvr if nobodys there and same with mids in odins . at least in emain there is 99% of the time somebody there ,

Yeah no wonder since you are an Alb and the ONLY tactic albs use (EXCEPT Black Falcons) is the zerg. Nowadays Hibs (atleast the "RvR ones") make 8 man groups with bard speed and dont camp spots and everyone knows what to do. Our group has taken double our numbers SEVERAL times (even cons) so zerging doesnt always win the fight. Also we do regural trips to Sauvage / Uppland and try to cause havoc, usually we get loads of enemies on us and it's great fun.

ALL realms have there ZERG times . ive been in grps ofalbs roughly 1-2 grps in sizeand have been ganked by 30-40+ hibs same with mids . there is always at least one realm that has the zerg . sure you whining hibs might say albs have the biggest population etc etc . but it doesnt mean mid or hib never zerg . if you honestly can say you never seen hibs or mids zerg the i suggest you get out into emain more often and stop ganking grays in low lvl exp spots .


p.s elesias why do you always have to complain/bitch whine about stuff . the only time you post a whine or cry comes out .try chilling out . this isagame and takealook at the big picture and not just what you think is good/bad

I have to agree that fighting continually in Emain is repetative, and only the hardcore Daoc player can spend most of their time there repeatidly and still find enjoyment in it.

This is partly the reason why I am looking forward to the introduction of the PvP server where all realms are accessable. This should hopefully create more diversity in location when fighting.

Do I detect frustration here?? rofl. You see thats one of Albs tactics. Demorialize your enemies by overrunning them in great numbers.

BTW don't do ANYTHING else than zerg is total BS because from 8.00 till 23.00 I can do a who emain and won't get more then 15 people. Hardly sounds like a zerg to me.

90% doesnt pay attention ( /stick and sleep )
95% doesnt know Mez wins the fight
99% is gimped in albion ( myself included ;p )

5-10k a day RP with 1/2 to 1fg in Pennines/Sauvage does me fine. Unless you qualify an FG as a zergforce....

And the great thing about Alb frontier: Yes it has badass mobs, BUT they dont like Albs any more than Hibs and Middies. Think about it

Well if you are in the zerg its like this, Woho i killed about 300ppl (just a random number) and how many rps did i gained of it? Uhmm 1rp/enemy WIEE, so its more fun and more of a challange to run with a 8ppl group with youre guild and have small battles. It both give good rps, and its a hell lot more fun the running along with 40000ppl..

emain does have a boring envirement to go to ever day and i know u hibs need to travel quite some miles to get ( which means longer waiting period for us to kill hehe j/k )

well anyway dont think hadrians will be a nice place to fight tho... will be more xp deaths than realm deaths there.

Odin would be a nice back-up... but ppl will log after 2 hours,cos blood will come out of their eyes

i dont play much nower days ... but when i did i never saw any special tactics from hibs ... dont confuse AE mezz with tactics..

and dont think beening a 8 man group killing 16+ even cons as something other realms dont do .. i have seen albs do it and been done to as well as mids ..

i have played all 3 realms in rvr and in my experince what ppl (my self included) think as the other ppl suxing is most of the time becuase class's..
they dont know how it is to be on the other end..

like when i had a ranger on Kay server in US i was so angry on the nerfs, and said that i only shoot ppl if they made mistakes and didnt use face etc ...

when you are on the other end of the arrow things look very different..

but well ... i play war 3 now ... so i dont care

but the boards here are so whiny.. have more fun..

well I for 1 like them being in emain and it means when our small or large grps for that matter goto alb or mib there won't be 100s camped at the pk's or mg's and there will always be hibs in emain reporting on large numbers comming through, we should thank the albs and mids for makeing things easier for us is there nething we can do for u? I know cruch and crim are a bit run down now but we'll decorate soon, ne pref on colour? how about a nice 30g teal?

Mezz wins fights not zerg. Its pitifully easy to win vs a force double your size or more when your main healing class has AoE 1minute mezz, ur secondary healing class has an AoE root and all your casters have paralyze.

Yes Emain is boring most the time, we've seen it all before. Occaisionaly something original happens such as the (almost) total taking of hib keeps the other night (never was gonna be a relic raid btw). Fun fights and u never knew where they were gonna take place, it was fluid environment. Regular Emain is like "Ok we killed the hibs, mids at mmg will be next, once we killed them hibs will be back at amg/crim" predicability.
