Just passed my motorbike test. I took it about 15 years ago and failed because of speeding. It is something that has nagged me ever since. Had the same examiner as well :D

I am clearly better than Pikey because I only got 1 minor.

So very, very happy about this, thats my 3 goals for this year done (tooth out, tattoo and bike test) infact the bike test and tattoo have been goals for years but I finally did something about it this year.

*happy*

Congrats!!

Now don't start a thread about how fast you were going down the motorway, hitting some black ice and grating all the skin off your back...

I have possibly just done 140 in my car but there was a good reason for that, this cock in a white Astra van was right up my arse so I booted it and then went into the slow lane and waited for him to come past, then as he was going past I was looking at my watch.

Me? Grow up?......NEVER!!!

Congrats, I actually am planning on doing my bike test before the end of the year but decided to do it after the harder test comes in at the end of this month, that may sound like a strange decision but having had a friend who died following an accident riding his bike I think having to pass a harder test would be beneficial in the long run.

The new test isn't being brought in until March 2009 now.

Really? Sod that then I'll have to just pass it now and hope I don't kill myself.

Aye same old story, big plans by the DSA, stress everyone out then not have enough test centres ready in time.

Also the new test sounded easier to me and also less safety concious, apparently you only have 5 minutes road time on the new test with everything else done under controlled conditions. Surely thats less safe than 40 minutes on the road like I had today on my test, well not less safe but they can't get a good idea of your real life abillities.

Also it doesn't mean you will kill yourself, I know 2 lads who were killed on bikes, one was riding like a twat on the wrong side of the road and the other was hit by a car on the wrong side of the road but my guess is he was speeding or not paying attention. I have also had 2 mates die from drug over doses, its a funny old life and if you want to do something you should just do it.

haha yay trem :) the examiner was obviously worried you would fanny-kick him if he gave you too many minors :D its the only plausable explanation! :p

Now all we need is a KEA biker meet up :D
