I was browsing Dell.co.uk and saw their PC performance scan i have never downloaded one of these from anywhere as well how trustworthy is the scan?

Anyway i downloaded this and it came up with like 1007 registry errors, how important is it to clear these errors? tbh i have never bothered with this ever while using PC's, once a week i do a defrag and use MS security essentials full scan/disk cleanup.

Is that enough or should i be taking note of these 1k+ errors? if so what should i download? there's so many registry cleaners out there i don't know which to trust, i've read things like you need to know what your deleting or it can fuck your system up.

Any tips?

They try to get you to pay £24.99 for the software to fix them , i doubt theres anything wrong with your registry , even if there is i wouldnt be bothered if all my programs are working fine.

Yeah like Embattle said, use ccleaner. That and their defraggler are great tools for clearing some of the rubbish collected by your PC. Also would recommend Spybot Search & Destroy to search for any Trojans or Worms hiding in your system, that your anti-virus won't pick up.
