you dont have to put effort in, you just have to be clever. i got 9 b's & a at gcse with no a single minute of revision. Revision just gets you stressed, kids!

Tbh its not so much about being smart as being able to stay cool under pressure. The smartest kid in my form was slated to get pretty much straight A's - The first exam she took she totally freaked out and had to be taken out of the exam she was crying so much

Apparently she managed to get over it and got by with average grades, but it just goes to show that even if you are super-smart it doesn't garentee your going to do well.

I got 1a, 2b, 2d, 2e and 1g for my GCSEs

Then I got 2a 2c for Highers

My dad was in forces, did GCSEs in Germany then moved to Scotland to do highers lol

Now I got a degree in Chemistry, 2.1 with Honours

GCSEs meant very little, even back then.
