GCSE's today! How did YOU do?

Well tis the day for my GCSE results to come out (apart from RE which was on a different board). Im just up and tired! Not nervous coz I know ive done crap anyway lol (apart from 3 As/A*s I think I got).

I just gonna ave a shower then I shall have to leave the house and go collect my results. Feel privledged that when I get back you will be the only people to know my results as im telling no1 IRL!

i never understood the worries with getting results, if you do shit then thats the way it goes.
i got 4B and 6C
then at A level i got a B for the first year and didnt bother with the second year :/

I did not even go pick my GCSE results up. Basically I got an Apprentice placement for an IT company and then joined IBM.

GCSE's are not worth anything along with NVQ's imho

Yea English board comes out on Thursday, N.Ire is today.

Surprised with my Bs as they were in Maths and History. My History which I got a D in the mock and had to get a lettre writen saying I was doing higher not foundation Maths surprised coz I got a D in my Add Maths \o/.

Im disappointed with my results really, but hey thats what I get for not revising You need to put the effort in to get something back

But atleast that gets me back into do Upper Sixth so w00t.

you dont have to put effort in, you just have to be clever. i got 9 b's & a at gcse with no a single minute of revision. Revision just gets you stressed, kids!

LOL better than my old best mate he got a F, a G and 3 Us and couldnt be arsed turning up for the rest. Hes now a smackhead though :/

well GCSE dont mean fuck all anyway so they arnt gonna stop you getting a job at anytime in your life GCSE are only good for college, even then you dont need to have good grades. most courses you can get on with a C in everything. even if you get crap grades you still get considerd if there is space left. only A-levels and higher mean anything, but now even they are meaning less. i have 1 A level and i work in the same job as people with a degree, so there you go.
