depends on what you want to do, for me science was important, if you want to do art, history and media at a-level though it hardly means anything if you only get a D

and once you have a-levels gcse's tend to become less important (apart from maths and english unless you continue doing those to a-level or beyond )

You only need GCSEs to get into college rly, And 5 A-Cs in english / maths / sci will get you anywhere you wanna go.

All i know is that i've got 2 english, 2 science and one statistics. I passed my maths GCSE when i sat it in November!
