Aye, good luck to all the 16-17 year olds out there who are getting their results today. Wish you all luck, and yes; us olderish people DO know what it feels like awaiting something like this.

Remember, if you don't do well there ARE other methods to getting to what you want, whether it be public/private college/tutoring or aprentiships.

Good luck again.

Over.

Youve dont alot better than prob alot of other kids in the country, no need to be disappointed. Just work verry hard on your A-Levels they determine your places at Uni, if you go that is.

Be interesting to see what grades people got in seperate subjects.

Chose the A-Levels you will enjoy and do well in, just dont do too many like I did 6 . But judging by your results I would most definatly chose English, buisness and physics; bearing in mind physics is tough at A-Level.

believe it or not GCSE results hardly matter at all, but if you feel dissapointed i bet its because of some pressure somewhere. 3As and 6Bs is probably better than the majority of the country.

there you go then, aslong as it gets you to the next step you wanna take it doesnt really matter what it is you got, all you can do is try.

Regarding A level physics, if you choose to do this, seriously consider doing A level maths too. They share many of the same areas (so less work compared to two completely different A levels) and both are very math intensive (so support each other again).

grats to those who done good gl to those who dont know and cheer up they always need binmen to thhose who done crap :)

nah seriously if you did badly dont fret thats why they invented resits and adult education, i got bugger all qualifications when i left school at 16 (yay bullies thx guys!) and tbh it does make a difference you go for a job you really want armed with qualifications you feel a lot more confident you go in with none (no matter how good the reason it always sounds like an excuse) and your already penalising yourself (no thats not a posh way of saying wanking duh!).

Honestly if I could time travel I would go back to when i was 14 and tell meself to get up early everyday and lift weights lol and study study study! because if i'd done that i'd actually be a librarian by now earning big bucks rather than waiting to go to uni next year becaue i had to get the prelim qualifications first and i'll be like 33 or something before im qualified.

if you did poorly do resits! dont let it get you down your still young and can stay up past 22:00hrs without falling asleep in your knitting DO EEET!!!

Most people (When I did these things) did around 11/12 because they could really. Doubles etc though.

Grats at the high-achievers here.

Aye - my bad. Miscounted an English GCSE twice as I did it in November but they decided to put it on my summer results too.

13 is possible w/ the following (which I done):

2x Maths
3x Science
2x English
Business Studies
Geography
History
I.C.T
R.S
French.
