cant say u took us by surprise really.

been lots of action of action in hw allday, and we had known all day u were upto something coz of breaking our nice doors on the keeps.

But it was a nice try, and it was great fun, my sorc got 5000 rp real fast used 2 whole mana bars fuc.... fast, dont know if u noticed me when u were on first door, i was the sorc jumping on the wall to mezz u, landed a few mezzes too.

that was just a few of us who wasnt in the mood for emain, so we figured we could try and grab 5 or 6 keeps within 10 mins (doors down, 2xFG to take 3 keeps each) but we never got so far.. took alot of time coz ppl kept leaving

we had fun tho, not the best pre-job for a relicraid night.. learned of the plans a bit too late, we had already bashed down doors on 2 keeps and purchased a pile of rams at the time I found out :> so wasnt gonna waste it..

we got some nice activity tho, some 80 albs to defend keeps?
I bet those doors were expensive ^^

Wow, don't think Excalibur Hibs have ever gotten that amount of people together for anything : / Must be hell organising that lot for a raid or something... on the other hand you could take your army somwhere and still have 100+ people after LD's - contrary to a Hib army that usually goes from 80+ to 40+ before we arrive at our destination : /

Actually, the proper technical term for our tactics is 'Zerg'.
Refer to 'Albion Strategy Handbook' page 1, paragraphs 1.1 through 984.23 for further in depth discussion of the subject.

Hahahah I wonder why people left each time . I've spend my whole day in our frontier and made about 8K (that's much more then the zerging trips in emain). Was especially nice when Phrenesis did some door nukeing (then RPs flowed in like a river). And shame on the minstrels I saw there who didn't supply a battery, but I guess that's the albs selfish attitude. I've expected the raid all day and am still surprised that none of the albs showed up when I said we had over 50 Mids in Hadrian's Wall... (was actually funny because we were in a hard fight with NP and it wasn't looking good for them so more Mids came which I think blew their cover..)

Earlier that day Hibs wanted to take Benowyc. Man were they surprised that they didn't even make it =) I got their precious bard upstairs. I then AE mezzed some in the lord room and then got away to ress the other albs. What I wonder was that the only resser you had Hibs?

Yeah I have psychic powers, PHEAR ME!!!

But the insane amounts of stuns and mezz is ridiculous to be honest... No wonder our so called ubers die so easily... Ah well soon we have PvP (pleassssse come half october... getting really bored on the normal servers...)

What I do find a bit weird/sick/lame or whatever is why Mids always go for alb relics... I can recount only 1 or 2 relic attempt on Hib keep (Str back then) which was a serious attempt (can't call the after alb attempt to take power relic a real attempt because it wasn't planned). To be honest we did Mids even a favour by taking our own relic...

Albs are way more numerous and thus form the bigger threat, obviously.

In a nutshell? Melee relics are held at Excalibur.

1) Strategically there are those of us who would prefer to keep any eggs we collect in one basket - and preferably the basket closest to the portal keep at Svas as it's far easier to reinforce from there. (Albs probably have the same problem with Snowdonia and the Hibs with their Str relic keep in terms of getting peeps there quickly).

2) Bindstone at Svasud in next patch I believe.

3) Uppland is far better scouted by Middies than Yggdra (Maybe Mazsola and Co are to blame for this ), and therefore its easier to recon any serious enemy inc.

So basically, its nothing personal m8
