In a gaming forum, if noone respects the man(even if didn't know this until now), they can piss right off and sell their coputers as gaming world as a whole would be that much weaker if D&D wouldn't have been invented.

One could even claim that modern day game gurus and nerds extraordinaire, have been spawned from D&Ds loving, often dissed for no reason, bosom.

and so on

infact you could argue that it's to his credit that we'r even having this discussion on this board.

On a similar note I was on Bossiney earlier today and a dude posted this news in /gu and a player said that he also posted it to Devon VN boards and the Thread got locked and he got banned from VN. ???? Why ?

This may not have a direct link to DAoC or myffik but it has some connection. So its maybe his interpretation of the subject was off.

Banning the poster seemed a bit extreme was my point.

after these boards and the horad of games that are the primary resaon for the existance of these boards all derive form what he helped Create.

He could have let the thread carry on, or just locked the topic and put a link to the section on VN that pays tribute to Gary Gygax. Just my opinion o'course.

'tis true now i actually thought twice about it: Baldurs Gate was one of my fav games.
