Garbage suck. I saw them at glastonbury, big mistake. I wished I had a sniper rifle. It was like someone pulling a cat through a mangle. I used to think they were alright until then. So I went and saw Leftfield. Awsome.

Learn to read eh Mystic?

He said he thought they were alright, until seeing them live, because they're impressively less decent live.

I'm personally just intrigued by what they've done to the new album [beautifulgarbage] - most are saying its an affair into crappy electro-pop or some such same-line conclusion.

:/

I tell ya what mate, next time I feel the need to post I will email it to you first for your aproval ok?
BTW you are being very hypocritical. I have seen you post far more pointless and derogative replies in threads anyway.

PS I just looked at your web site you have dedicated to yourself for some reason. Very creepy.

Clearly thats utter Garbage [haw haw], they pale in comparison to many [most?] other live bands, they always sound tinny and under-prepared for the overwhelming crowds. They're simply not suited to large gigs.

tdc: eep indeed :/

Erm most bands sound totally different in larger venues just due to there very size, those that still sound the same are ones like Steps & Hearsay cos there a bunch of mime artists.

I think the point is some artists rise to large crowds, other shrink away. Many bands like Blur, Radiohead, Robbie Williams (eep!) perform well. Others, like Garbage perhaps, work best when played on your stereo or at smaller, more intimate gigs.

Having seen Garbage doing promo on T4 this morning, I'm thoroughly unimpressed, they've lost something in this transition into electro-pop culture shit. The only good bit of the song is when shirley says "boys, girls, boys, girls" at the end of the song - the bit thats unaccompanied by instruments ...

Garbage on CD:UK? We get that every week hehehe... :)

I've never seen Garbage live, but I am impressed at their music, nonetheless. "Keep Breathing" from the Version 2.0 album is possibly my favourite downtempo song of all time, and the more uptempo stuff is very enjoyable. (I havent heard the new song, so cant really give my opinion on that.)

Personally I dont think a band should be judged on how they play live. So long as the band themselves are responsible for the whole of the music (ie. not pop groups), then producing and selling albums to vast critical aclaim should be enough, shouldn't it?

You may rate the fitness of men on TV but I don't. That must say something about you. :)
