Gap Year Ideas

I'm slowly going insane being stuck in Durham while all my friends are at uni, and i need some ideas for a gap year, something for me to work towards. I mean seriously if i don't get out of this town soonish its /wrists time .

Would be willing to do any sort of volunteer work, like work in an orphange etc.

Last year a mate of mine worked full time from August/September to February and travelled the world from February-June.

Gap years... aren't they just bait for nieve teens to go to remote parts of foreign countries so they can be brutally murdered by the local psychopath/native people eating creature (big croc for example, Steve Irwin rest in peace...)?

If I were you, I'd take a year off in your gap year

get some money go do the usual New Zealand/ Australia gap year stuff, bungie jumping parachuting etc.
