Gaming Mouse?

I have come into a bit of cash and am thinking of actully buying a proper gaming mouse, but im a bit lost when it comes to this whole DPI business.

Im thinking about this little fella

What say yall? Will 5700 DPI be too much as I use a resolution of 1366x678

I love my G500, I used to pretty much stick to Razor mice but found the build quality has dropped a lot lately. Cannot fault anything at all with the G500. I hear the scroll wheel isn't to everyones tastes but it's fine for me. The weights are a bit of a gimmick though, it's fine without any of them in.

Previously used a G5/MX revolution/G900 and currently using a G500 - I just prefer the body shape for long periods of mouse using for comfort over anything else.

another vote for g500 here too had a g7 but prefer the classic logitech shape in the g500

I too have a G series. I love it because you can turn the performance waaaay down (I do this for drawing).

Yeah I mostly play strat games so I don't need huge sensitivty but when I do FPS I demand the ablity to spin my dude around in a split sec. looks like a solid choice for me.
