GameSpy backup?

Does anyone know how to Backup the Servers list from GameSpy? Everytime i use it when i leave CS it crashes, so i am gonna try Unistallin/Reinstallin it, but i wanna keep the Servers..

Well, i was thinkin the exact same thing embattle lol, i have so many problems... which is why i bought a NEW PC!!

Oh bollox... this thread just reminded me about GameSpy... i just finished fixing my new comp after the fecker decided never to work... (Conflicts, conflicts, conflicts)

and i forgot to save the list on GS, so i lost everythin

i am a very lost person now... i dont know where to begin to see if everything is OK..

Hum...don't knock XP. I too thought the same as you. I just installed it yesterday and it's great. A bit wierd at first, but you have to get use to it. I upped my 3dmark2k1SE score from 3800 to 4300 though. I was previously using win98 SE.

also, anyone know how to backup your buddies list on gayspy.

Me m8 told me it was saved online but when i formatted, reinstalled it i found that it my contacts were lost

Err not sure which files you need to save, but whenever your upgrade gspy it gives u the option to backup, and saves your previous settings in a backup folder within your gspy directory.

Export the Gamespy registry entries is probably your best bet, there no doubt stored in there somewhere.

Maybe u should upgrade your 386sx to a 486dx2 like mine.

A thought for backin up in the future.. why dont you just save the GameSpy foldr in Program Files? i am sure it has all the nec. stuff ?
