Over on the Penny Arcarde Monolith's Geoffrey Zatkin, one of the orginial designers of EverQuest, and recently involved in the Matrix Online talks about the world of the game designer.

Wouldn't trade this designer(luckily not lead...*shivers*...couldn't do anything!) job for all the women in the world.

Well....maybe for a few sessions with Portia De Rossi but...

He did forget one thing...we also talk about odd things. Like vertexes sorting out with the striped polygons so that the alpha-maps don't cause crashes for the pre-beta models of the lowpoly renderings....or sumnot...
