As i know many of you also play alot of other game types after talking to alot of you ingame and on irc i thought i'd post this (after clearing it with Ted) to make you aware of it after we had some daoc players coming down to one of our events as a meet up point to get some gaming in.

www.GameOn.co.uk is proud to announce that they are holding their 56th LAN Party in the UK.
This is another 4 day bank-holiday LAN brought to you by GameOn in association with Scan, ABIT and ITV's Game Stars Live show.

This is a 150 Player LAN event & the dates of the 4 Day LAN will be the weekend of "Fri 27th Aug - Mon 30th Aug 2004"

GameOn is running ITV's Game Stars Live final qualifiers on top of their own tournaments:

Game Stars Live Final Qualifiers:
Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5
Call of Duty S&D 5v5
UT2004 DM 1v1
Warcraft 3: Frozen Thrown 1v1
C&C Generals: Zero Hour 1v1

GameOn Tourneys:
Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5
UT2004 iTDM 2v2 (Instagib team death match)
Battlefield: DC Conquest 8v8
NFSU

The location is the Midlands
So come over to www.GameOn.co.uk for more details.

As much as i myself personally like playing some of those games, posting on a mmorpg forum about a lan event not including the said game is a bit pointless ehh?

We do tend to get our fair share of mmorpg gamers down at the events including daoc gamers.

Otherwise youd be entirly correct.

Blimey - Hypersports :D The arcade box was epic. Playstation thumb was nothing compared the injuries you could inflict on yourself playing that.
