Gamecube Help

Quick boring backstory:

I was always a massive fan of Nintendo and viewed other console manufacturers as second-rate, until the Dreamcast that was :)

I played MSR along with JSR almost religiously, so with the next gen of consoles I plumped for the xbox. As much as I like the gigantic plastic monstrosity, it suddenly dawned on me that I'm missing out on the next gen of Nintendo classics.

So what I'd like from you helpful chaps is:

The best place to get hold of a cheap Gamecube.
A list of absolutely MUST buy games.

Thanks :)

Dunno about the cheapest place to get the console, but must buy games are:

Metroid Prime
Zelda: Wind Waker
Monkey Ball 1 or 2
Soul Calibur 2 (has Link in it)
Resident Evil: Zero & 1 (Re-make)
Viewtiful Joe
F-Zero GX
Mario Kart: Double Dash (late 2003)

And a freeloader to play import games (you can pick them up for about £12).

Also, the fact that Nintendo have stopped making the GC due to an overabundance of stock could well start bringing the prices down even further, probably around Christmass time.

In which case, it may be worth holding off for a little while.

Thanks for the info :)

I'll probably take you advice Whipped and wait until the end of the year for some good deals.

I know it's a longshot, but does anyone know what the kart AI in MK: DD will be like?

In the original MK it was fantastic.

In MK: 64 it was hideous, it made me hate the game. Cheating shits :(

Worth getting for Zelda alone. Hell its the only reason I spent £130 to play one game.
