GAME.NET Spotting

So, who's seen the GAME.NET CD pushed in their local store - and what do you reckon to the store pimpage? This isn't a cunning ploy to get you through the doors, just be interested to see whether your local place has it yet, and what you think of what we're doing with it in store.

Of course, your feedback may well be thrown in the 'wibble pile', just being nosey really...:)

yeah, Halifax had a full floor the roof display and one on the end of the 'gondola' things I'm told they're called - plus A4 posters near the PC games.

Apparently they're supposed to have stickers on the compatible games too, maybe they'll catch up with that next week :)

No mention of the half price offers though, nother for next week...

p.s. Wij - get off your arse, go home from work, and get BF teched up to join us for some fraggin tonight you slacker, or better still get a pass from the missus, we're having tintin chinese .......

Won't have a chance to look until tomorrow. I shall let you know my opinion on Monday, if I'm not happy with it though you better hide your marketing lads cos I'll be sending the boys round, little bastards will draw all over your walls and stuff instead of mine mwahhahahaha.

BF is poo. Might play a bit though, keep an eye out for me. Think the missus had a shit day at wr0k though so I'll have to be careful about saying "Stop fucking talking to me, I'm trying to play a game !!" :)

I saw something about Game.Net in Nottm, but i forgot to check... It was sort of in the middle of the shop, and i caught it out the corner of my eye. I thought "I'll take a look at that on my way back", and carried on my journey to the shrunken PC section. Didn't see anything about Game.Net there, and totally forget to look at the thing in the center of the shop when exiting. I guess it can't have been too prominant or else i would have seen it, but there was some advertising there...

Then again, i wasn't feeling too well, i generally dislike cities, and i was suffering from an extreme thirst, and lack of food... So i guess there might have been a man wearing a giant BW smilie suit, jumping up and down, whilst throwing smaller smilies at the heads of passers-by, standing in the middle of the shop. I don't notice very much, y'see :(

Havent been down my local Game store yet but I expect it'll have a huge display as it usually seems to have the best display gear all the time.

today was bloody hard.

its very difficult to try and get people to subscribe to summat on the shop floor like this. there is too much info to tell somebody who has just queued for five minutes and just want to buy the game and leave.

and the training manual. My god. war and peace all over again.

i think the peeps on the street will take this up. it just requires the word to be spread.

and Wij. send my love to my manager :)

I'm too frightened to go in computer game shops, the nerd factor is just too high for my liking - and I don't like being hit in the face with chip fat from the long hair of the shop assistants.
