They've been changing the title image a bit over the last few weeks, to go with the christmas/new year season. It's likely you tried to go there while they were in the process of re-uploading, at my guess.

AlltheWeb is good - but it lacks the features of Google (eg cacheing, newsgroup searching, often speed)

BTW - You could have used Yahoo, Yahoo use Google search technology for their webpage results (as opposed to thier website results). Lycos use AllTheWeb for thier search

If i get me a toolbar can i get rid if i don't like it? I use Opera quite a bit and when i go to IE i'm lost without the googlesearch box on it... looks like it clutters IE up though....

Once installed you can switch it on and off by using the View | Toolbars menu in IE.

Don't forget to check out the Google language preferences peeps!

You too can read your favourite Search Engine in 'Hacker', 'Elmer Fudd', 'Pig Latin' and 'bork, bork, bork'.
