ok following the tradition? whats the most fun moment youve had playing daoc?

my had to be the US experience me and a m8 of mine had when we decided we wanted to check out NF before it released.. we started up 2 toons him a shaman and me a thane (5 stormcalling @ lvl 5 UBAHR! )

we started up in old zone since we didnt have SI on the 14 day free trial.. i found a lvl 36 player who graciously gave me 50g so we were VERY VERY rich for our level and ofc we were gonna hit lvl 1 - 4 bg.. and what do we need then? lvl 6 99% crafted armour and weapons ofc.. haggling with the crafter because he wanted 1s50c for a armourpiece (you are killing me... i pay you... 1s20!!!) and getting him to come to svasud for the delivery.. and then contacting a weaponcrafter for 2 axes and 2 shields... when he asked what size shield we wanted.. our reply was "i want one thats this <-------------> big.."

running around as level 3, shouting at 2 lvl 2 players: LOWBIES!!!

and then go into bg as lvl 5 in the 5-9 bg, grouping up with people, pretending to be russians by using the line "im veeeeery big in russia"... might not seem funny, but when youve stayed up WAY to long and answering when people asked what it means, "its a code, youll find out... in 3-5 days..." the entire session had me in stitches

Jumping up and down on the broken piece of wood at the Aegir bridge, shouting things like "Durnit! What the heck is wrong with this bridge!" and "Maybe i need to loosen the screw on the bottom" and swimming under the bridge. Basicly being a dwarf on the job of trying to fix the borked bridge.

I managed to get around 40-50 gold in total one day to help fix the bridge.

A lvl 50 guildmate of mine was ambushed right outside Cotswald Village by 2 level 1 people, wielding their bronze training dirk, shouting "Money or your Life!" He gave them both a goldpiece.


Another dude from my guild rolled a lvl 1 toon (unguilded), just to stalk a guildie on Salisbury plains, pestering him to sell him his cloak because "the emblem is so cool". This went on for litterally hours, while the guilded guy tried to explain, that you can´t sell emblemed cloaks, which the "noob" didn´t believe ofc. The poor dude gave a full coverage of the incident in /gu.
When he left his good-bye post in our forum, the stalker lifted the camouflage, saing "oh, btw, do you remember the level 1 guy trying to buy your cloak on Slaisbury plains? That was me!"

Ok this is Pre-SI so it's fair auld time ago. Was on a relic raid on Hib, haveing fun. Lagging like a biatch but where where on the relice keep, I'm happly B00nzing a relic gaurd off our grps cleric when the server keeels over. When it does come back up i'm about 300 yards away from the keep, however i'm about 300 feet off the ground, Little did i know i wasn't on fully health.. as i laughed about it i went crashing to the ground to die , some of the other guildies where a bit more fortuneate, but all logged back in about 300 feet from the ground. Mosted used IP ( They check stuff like Hitpoints and that upon log in ;p ). One such Pally was very close to Fins4 . so he had a bit of a wander around , waved a few peeps xping at fins ... they all charged him .. he ran to the fins .. and the hibbies got smished by the fins =).

2 times i remember
1. i was lucky enough to be allowed into the Guardians of Power and Dark llama knight guild on hib/excal wen we all made hiblet t00ns like last summer
we were like lvl 30-35s at the time all hunting in DF
mids took DF so there were about 120 hibs that all camped cross roads, everyone was sitting there ready and had the luwi Ns and rangers scouting ahead and then they came !\o/ was mass war and the mids started running all around DF at different dirrections me and chic from GoP(both chanters) met each other with Erodafira on her bard and there were about 2 50 hibs with us and we were chasing them still with 0 power smacking them up with our staffs and kiilled them finally
2. trying to change my controls 2 months ago for WASD movement, i then walked and dived into the sea at styg haven Z for dive and then no pots left hit A and i moved left oh fook im screwed! so i asked my friend heriv ML10 sorj to cast water breathe but he decided to sit there and go "wha" and laugh why i drowned miserably:<

Was running around in OF odins ( Give it back imo ) and i was as usual Solo.
I make it as far as HMG, and there is a Solo Zerker, my brother see's me charging him , and lets just say he called a very low intell name ( and i responded "at least i'm not a armsman ). anyway, The zerker goes into Carebare mode and procedes to try and *hug* me, meanwhile i've cast my wings of d00m and happily dispatch said zerker ( well i lived so i was happy). My brother was very impressed with this =).

another OF odins moment was i was just past AMG heading along the zone wall and 2 sb's jump me, now i had just gotten IP, so i keeel one , but was only on 20% hp left and the 2nd one was on 100%, i hit IP when i get around 5% , got the SB down to about 60% , dont' know why but he just stopped attacking and started to try and run with 0 end ... well it made me laugh

The Naked Mids Linedance in OF, that was pure class!. Loads of /level mids in no armor running to mmg and dancing on the milegates. Some high rr hib grp came and put off their armor and danced also and for a while a bard with a cool hat lead the zerg. Too bad it was too many rp horny people ruining it, was mighty fun though ;D

any way in ye olde thid i was running about on my armswoman and got mezzed by a single middie troll, he stood a distance away from me and bowed, he waited until i was unmezzed and he wanted a one on one fight but a alb stealther came and killed him before we could fight

my best moment was prolly getting PA´d by a infil on pvp server and my caster friend turns around and one shots him before i die

Was on my shaman in a trio when a big alb zerg came and mezzed us, killed off the other 2 in the trio when I got hit by some ae effect.

Managed to run off a bit, then turn around and aeroot the small zerg chasing me (about 2 FG's) + diseasing em before i run off with a big grin on my face

My funniest moment was when i was killing Bantam Specters in OF on my level 25 Ment, i saw 3 albs run along, Cleric, HO Merc and a Paladin, ofc i started bricking it hoping they wouldn't kill me but they sat down took the armour off and beckoned me...
