I have asked about here in Qatar and it seems that there are, in fact restrictions on non muslims entering mosques. They are building a new state mosque though and i am not 100% if it will be open to be people of other faiths.
However, i know that there were no such restrictions at the place we held our service for my brother.
TBH i think it is shame that there are restrictions on any person of any faith visiting places of worship - off course some exceptions might be understandable - as it seems kind of stupid to not let people of other faiths participate in such things.
Anyway that was totally off topic.
