To keep the story short: Funcom did a direct debit from my bank account and so did a dozen other parties on the same day. The account couldn't cover all transactions (it was over the limit) as I had some money coming in later to my account. My bank was so funny and charged back all the transactions even though there was only not enough cover to process one, sending me into some potential trouble with the people who tried to debit it.
So it got charged back, it was clearly my fault, but I manually transferred it back to Funcom the very same day it got charged back. So I've paid for the service, Funcom could only request from me to pay the fee for the charge back, which I offered to do.
What Funcom did instead was:
1. Suspended my account without telling me in the middle of the subscription perioid.
2. Upon my petition called me a liar, telling me that a bank never does a charge back on its own.
3. Asked me to send them a color copy of my ID and credit card in order to repopen my account.
4. Didn't allow me to make any new payments, regardless of payment type (German giro or credit card).
5. Fubared their firewall, so an to them email would bounce back with 2 days delay and a "connection refussed".
I am quite angry with their policy. Needless to say none of the other parties who got their money charged back but received it from me on the same day made any problems.
Not sure what to do, after they fucked up the graphics system for me so I can barely play the game I am almost ready just to skip this game.
