I've just been messing around with AJAX and altered my stadia google maps project to use it. I plan to add the ability to find by sport and possibly a free text search.
Bugs and opinions would be appreciated, especially if someone has one of those dodgy Mac things. I've just updated it to use the latest google map pictures, so I'm still on the hunt for stadia too, esp UK ones.

Whilst developing this, I also had fun with firefox and memory usage :D:

Not sure if this helps but the google map doesn't jump to Japan and Russia when you choose them from the default UK view, but it does jump back if you scroll across to Japan and choose something else.

Yeah, thats due to the fact the central point is somewhere near britain, and zoomed in, I've altered it to a zoomed out point, see what you think now.

I think it's pretty cool, never realised Suzuka was all the way down near Nagoya. :)

Still a few stadiums to add though, unless you're just testing it and having a mess around?

There are probably loads to add, I need to hunt for all the F1 and moto GP circuits and try and add all the US baseball + ice hockey stadia. There are also a large amount of UK football stadia to add, such as League's One and Two, now I have a database attached though it should be pretty easy to add locations :)
