Just got an Nokia N95 and have been trying to sync it up to my PC.

Easy process, so you think. I've connected it to my PC using the USB cable that always sits in one of the front USB slots, but to no avail. It won't recognise the phone being attached.

Now, when I had another (orange) phone I remembered I couldn't charge it using a USB cable unless Micro$oft ActiveWank was installed. They obviously had some software in the phone that said IF NotSuckingSatan'sCock THEN Don'tletthephonecharge.

So I dig out the "identical" USB cable that's in the Nokia box and lo and behold! It all connects nicely...

FUCKING nastynameforfemalegenitalia the lot of them :twak: :twak: :twak:

WHAT THE FUCK is it with these companies that they have to fuck about with just about everything.

Universal serial bus. Not Nokia only whilst looking identical serial bus.

Wankers wankers wankers wankers. Why isn't this sort of business practice illegal? :(

I think its a duff cable. I routinely connect my n95 using standard USB cables. Its connected right now.

nokia just suck! Move the phone part of the usb cable in the phone a little bit and it disconnects, that pc/headphones socket on all nokia phones I have had has always been a pile of shit.

Never had a Nokia since my N95 which also runs like crap, really slow and unresponsive most of the time.

Packing Samsung these days and cant complain about them at all!

I think the answer is to get a mac, and connect with bluetooth.

And that is true about Teedles.

I really like my n95 8gb.

Never had any problems syncing it to my PC. It talks fine to my Mac at work via bluetooth or usb.
It's my casual camera, mp3 player, email checker, sat nav and phone all in one.
There's talk at work of getting us support guys iPhones but tbh I think I'd rather keep my own n95 as there's far more I can do with it than an iPhone.

I wanted it for the camera. Seems pretty good. I'll use the satnav only if I can grab a hacked tomtom but tbfh I never needed it. Pretty much if I've been somewhere once I can find it again.

I'd use it as an mp3 player but I've never found headphones that don't annoy me after more than a minutes use...

I have the N95's older brother, the N80, and it's grand.

Had it about 15 months and I've had very few problems with it.
